Have a seat,
Sit down in a comfortable chair or lay down on your bed anywhere that feels comfortable and relaxing and where you can just let go.
Just know that you don't have to do anything right now.
You have given yourself these few minutes to sit and just be.
To be truly who you are in your essence.
You don't have to be anything you're not.
You don't have to say anything to anyone or be something that you don't truly feel like you are.
You as you are are perfect and I know we hear that and it seems like well I have some things that aren't perfect but we all do and it's in accepting that none of us will be truly perfect.
That we will all have little so-called flaws or perceive certain things about people or feel they perceive us a certain way but really none of that matters.
We are here.
We are allowed to be as we are.
It is safe to be who we are and by being who are is where we find the most power,
The most confidence,
The most beauty,
The most relief.
So let's sit back or lay back wherever you are.
Take a deep breath in through your nostrils and a deep breath out through your mouth.
We're gonna do that two more times so a big deep breath in through your nostrils and a big deep breath out through your mouth.
Last one.
A big deep inhale and a big deep exhale feeling your shoulders relaxing,
Your eyes closing,
Getting softer,
Your face relaxing,
Your jaw,
Your cheekbones,
Your brow muscles,
Your lips on down to releasing your neck and your shoulders,
Feeling your heart soften,
Your stomach relax,
Settling in,
Your lower body,
Your hips,
Your legs,
Your feet relaxing.
We're gonna keep our eyes closed and just do a short meditation continuing to breathe in and out.
You don't have to take breaths that are too big.
Just go back to a normal breathing pattern where you don't even have to think about it.
Just letting your lungs and your body do what they do.
A relaxing breath,
A relaxing breath in and out,
Knowing that you don't have to do anything in this moment.
Relaxing even more,
Letting everything in your body just drop and release and relax and be supported by either the chair or the bed that you are on.
It's fully supporting you,
Allowing you to just sink into it,
Feeling how yummy that feels to just let go of everything.
In this world,
We're told how to be so often,
But what about how we want to be,
How we feel is right to be?
Our truth,
Our truth that may be the same as someone else's or similar or very very different and either way it's right because it's you.
So let's keep breathing the inhale and the exhale,
The inhale and the exhale and by sitting with yourself you can learn to trust yourself,
Getting to know who you are inside,
What you think and what you feel without judgment,
Really exploring your inner world in knowing and getting to know who you are and through doing this you will develop a greater trust in yourself because when all the things are going on outside of you and there is social media and TV and films and music and all kinds of people in your life telling you how you're supposed to be or how they would prefer you to be or just subtly throwing out ideas about ways to behave or act or what to say,
How to look,
How to dress,
Any of those.
We're welcome to leave those behind,
To really check in with ourselves,
To see how we want to behave,
What we want to say,
What we want to think,
What we want to wear,
How we want to dress and walk through the world.
That's the only thing that matters is being true to ourselves so let's just take a few deep breaths.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth and one last one.
Inhaling and exhaling knowing we can come back here anytime and connect with ourselves and our truth and have the confidence to act from that place.
One last inhale and an exhale just knowing how worthy you are,
How loved you are,
How impossibly amazing you are.
Know that and know you can always return to this place.
