Hi my name is Michelle Joy and this guided meditation is to help you connect to your unborn baby.

Settling into a position where you feel most comfortable and safe for you and your baby.

Keeping mind the stage of pregnancy that you're in.

At any time feel free to move this position.

Closing your eyes and starting to focus in on your breath.

And just slowing it down.

Increasing the length of your inhalation and the length of your exhalation.

And then placing your left hand onto your heart or onto your chest.

And resting your right hand onto your tummy.

Just wherever feels comfortable.

Or placing that right hand to where you feel the baby most on your belly.

Feel your chest and your belly rise and fall with every inhalation and exhalation that you take.

Let your thoughts drift by and just bring yourself into the present moment.

Focusing your attention on yourself,

Your unborn baby and your breath.

Still being very mindful of the movement of your breath.

Notice that as you inhale there's a ripple effect down through to your belly and then down into your womb.

So that inhalation is creating a soft and gentle movement through your body.

It's almost as if that breath is swaying or rocking your baby gently.

So you feel your lungs of the inhalation and it fills into your belly and it just tilts your pelvis away from you.

And then as you exhale the pelvis tilts a little bit towards you.

And you let go of the whole breath so you don't actually need to move your pelvis it's just that really subtle gentle movement of your breath.

It sways the baby to and fro backwards and forwards on the inhalation you're breathing in nice and deep into your lungs.

Feel your belly rise and your womb and the baby tilt away from you towards your pelvis.

And then the exhalation the baby tilts in towards your spine and towards your ribs.

And you let go of the whole breath.

Let's see if we can slow that rocking motion and the breath down by deepening your breath once more.

Making the exhalation slightly longer than your inhalation.

And this helps to calm your nervous system.

It adds some space in the breath and it helps you to empty your lungs completely letting go of all the old air.

So you've got some empty lungs to take on that lovely inhalation that lovely oxygen to fill up those lungs.

So filling those lungs up on the inhalation with fresh air and unconditional love.

Feel them expand and gently nudge your belly and your baby.

And then on the exhalation the baby comes back towards you and you let go of the breath completely.

Maybe letting go of anything that no longer serves your higher purpose as well if you want to add in an extra element to the visualization.

You may want to breathe in a nice calming color and breathing out whatever color you feel is appropriate to let go and help you relax.

Sometimes a count system helps.

So if you're comfortable with account system for your breath,

Then maybe breathing in for a count of four or five,

Nice and slowly.

And then out for a count of six or seven.

Just making sure once again that that exhalation is a counter to longer than the inhalation.

So maybe breathing in for the count of 1234 and then out for the count of 654321.

If a long count is achievable once again just go for it.

Whatever is going to provide you relaxation and ease.

You may start to feel some magical movements of your baby giving you a kick or a high five or just wriggling around into a better position to enjoy its gentle rocking.

It may be too early for you to feel the baby's movements and that's completely fine.

Just visualize your baby resting in your room.

Maybe trying to imagine of what position the babies in or how it might look.

Maybe you'd like to talk to your baby.

And you can do this in your mind or you can say it out loud,

Send it some positive vibes or some positive intentions or prayers or some positive reinforcement kind words.

Whatever you would like to say to your baby.

You don't have to you can just keep the breathing and keep visualizing tuning into into your unborn baby.

But if you would like.

You're welcome to just have a little chat to your baby.

You may already have a nickname for your baby.

Here's an example of what I say to my unborn baby sometimes.

I call it a little one.

Hey little one.

How you going in there.

Me loves you very much.

And I can't wait to meet you when the time is right.

You're doing an amazing job growing and being your awesome self.

You can just say whatever comes to your mind.

Please affirmations.

You may continue to grow strong and healthy little one.

And once you're out.

I get to have different types of cuddles,

Where you can rest in my arms and on my chest.

And I can see your beautiful face and your tiny fingers and toes.

Can be whatever you like.

Those are just suggestions.

Either way,

If you just want to breathe.

Visualize,

We'll have a little chat.

I'm going to leave you for a few moments while you connect into your beautiful unborn little angel.

Relaxing your breath whenever you need to.

Just coming into a natural breath.

Keeping with your visualization.

And connecting in with your unborn child.

You guys invest in your Joe.

Awareness back to my voice and in your own time letting go of the visualization taking a nice big deep breath in and letting go of the exhalation and remember that anytime you can come back to this visualization or practice or we listen to this meditation it's really important to connect in to yourself as well as your baby and take the time out to rest during your pregnancy so just bringing your awareness back once again to my voice relaxing your arms down by your side starting to open your eyes with your toes and your fingers bringing some more movement into your body and allowing yourself to gently come out of the meditation and back into your present day take care
