Today's meditation is designed to help you release feelings of stress,
Anxiety and overwhelm so that you can create a calmer,
More peaceful and happier future.
You can start by sitting or lying in a comfortable position and allow your eyes to close down.
As you continue to relax very deeply,
Perhaps you will even notice that with each breath you relax deeper and deeper.
That's it.
Really allowing yourself to settle more and more and more.
I would like you to use your imagination now.
I want you to imagine,
I'd like you to think about,
A beautiful,
Lush,
Tropical garden.
This is a paradise.
And like a paradise,
There are only wonderful things here.
No harm can come to you here.
This is your garden.
It was made just for you.
You're lying on a soft,
Grassy area next to a beautiful stream.
You're gazing at the beautiful blue sky above.
A cloud drifts by.
And as your eyes follow it across the sky,
You feel a tranquil peace fall upon you.
You feel the warmth of the sun as it cradles your body.
You look up into the lush,
Green trees.
And at the top of one of them is the most beautiful butterfly you have ever seen.
It starts to glide,
Its colorful wings outstretched to catch the breeze.
You watch the beautiful butterfly drift slowly downward.
And as you see it drift,
So too will you drift into the deepest state of relaxation.
So as I count from five down to one,
You will feel your body drift downward like that of the butterfly.
Five.
Watch its wings as it glides down through the treetops.
Things are getting hazier.
Four.
It turns its wings to sail with the breeze.
You are very peaceful,
Very relaxed.
Three.
It soars to the lower branches.
You can almost feel your body drifting,
Drifting on air.
Two.
You both drift slowly downward.
As,
One,
It lands and it rests its wings.
And you find yourself calm and deeply relaxed.
You are now feeling so deeply relaxed.
And today we are going to explore the concept that the thoughts in our mind shape our reality.
The thoughts we think create the emotions we feel.
Just thinking of how some of those thoughts can make you feel.
And choosing today to let go of the thoughts.
That no longer serve you.
Letting go of all those old parts of you that are stuck in overthinking.
Letting go of things that might be causing you to feel overwhelmed and stressed.
Most of these things are probably out of your control.
So letting them go.
Choosing right now to let them go.
And just noticing what comes to mind.
And like clouds on a gentle windy day,
Watch them float away.
Far away from you now.
Just noticing.
Deeper and deeper.
Focusing your mind only on positive thoughts.
Focusing your thoughts on things you do have control over.
Imagine this.
I want you to go to an unspecified time in the future.
See,
Feel,
Think about yourself sitting in that beautiful,
Lush,
Tropical garden.
It's so serene.
And you can feel that peace penetrating into every cell in your body.
You feel so much gratitude for being in the space now.
So peaceful.
So peaceful.
I want you to feel this feeling start to saturate every part of your body.
And as it moves through your muscles,
You can feel every part of you relaxing deeper and deeper.
Because these are things you do have control over.
You get to choose how you want to feel.
You get to choose where and what you focus your energy on.
And today,
You are choosing to create that future part of you by feeling peaceful in this moment now.
By choosing the thoughts you want to think in this moment now.
You get to choose to relax your body now,
Deeper and deeper.
Feeling your breath relax you deeper and deeper.
Allowing yourself to feel in control again.
Allowing yourself to feel empowered.
In this moment now,
As you choose to relax deeper and deeper.
You are literally programming your body for health now.
You are creating your tomorrow by the thoughts you are choosing to think now.
You are choosing to let go of all the thoughts that no longer serve you.
All the stress,
All the overwhelm.
The peace and calm you are feeling now is a reality.
The internal changes are already happening.
Maybe you even have a slight smile on your face.
As even more feelings,
Joy and peace fill your emotions completely.
And as you relax deeper,
Can you focus your attention on something you feel grateful for.
Something that makes you smile a little bit more.
Allow that gratitude to flood your entire being.
Feel all those feelings now.
Feel your body relaxing deeper and deeper.
Allowing yourself to drift even deeper and deeper.
So if you are ready today to change your internal environment.
To teach your body the calm and peaceful emotions of your future self.
Then simply bring your forefinger and your thumb together.
A slight pressure together to signal to your body that you are ready to create this change.
I want you to give yourself permission to feel all these positive emotions now.
Training your body to feel this peace.
Training your mind to release the stress and overwhelm.
Teaching your body what your future self feels like.
And deeper relaxed.
Imagine a beautiful golden light begin to radiate out of your heart centre.
These new feelings of peace and serenity have activated this light.
This is the most beautiful light you can imagine.
It's a light of love,
Of self confidence,
Of inner radiance,
Of self worth,
Of happiness.
Imagine the light shining out from your heart and encasing your entire body.
Forming a dome shape around your entire being.
This light shines about a metre from you in all directions.
And it's radiant energy is getting stronger and stronger.
I want you to bathe in this light of peace.
This energy flows through all parts of you.
Saturates all cells within you.
And dissolves all that you no longer need.
This is an energy of absolute love.
Take this feeling now and store it in the forefront of your mind.
Store it in the centre of your heart.
Take this feeling and label it my mega self future.
If there is anything you need to add to this future,
You can do this now.
And as you continue to feel this incredible sensation of self love filling up your body.
The energy flowing to your heart and your mind and encompassing all that you are.
You realise that this kind of love will help your body respond in a different way.
This love will be the energy that inspires you,
Supports you,
Reminds you,
Encourages you.
To keep nourishing and replenishing your body with healthy foods,
Water and exercise.
It's gentle and supportive and accepting.
And every time you think of your mega self future,
You are filled with this love in the now.
You are no longer separate from this feeling.
This feeling is you as you imagine the melting together of you with this potential now.
And right now you are being filled with new possibilities and a new energy.
And going forward different decisions you make every day are now inspired by how you think of your future.
You ask yourself,
Does this choice,
Will this action,
Will this feeling be a benefit to my future?
And you now find it easy to release overthinking and come back to this calm space.
You now find it easy to choose and see the benefits in all positive change in your life.
You now find it easy to act in ways that support you in your future.
Relaxing deeper and as you mold and melt into your future,
You can feel and experience a new healthy energy beginning to flow into you.
As your nervous system becomes more stable and you become so much calmer and more relaxed than ever before.
And because you are becoming so much calmer inside and so much more relaxed,
The whole outlook on life is improving.
And you begin to take each day as it comes.
You feel a sense of acceptance,
A feeling of peace and serenity deep within you.
Your brainwaves are becoming balanced and this indicates a more peaceful and restful nature.
And because of this you are sleeping more soundly and experiencing beautiful dreams.
And when you do wake up,
You do so with a refreshed and invigorated feeling.
And all these things are beginning to take place deep within you right now.
You are a conscious creator and you are creating your future now.
And for the next five minutes you can enjoy the music and give yourself permission to connect deeply with these feelings of peace and calm.
Allowing your nervous system to recenter and recalibrate.
So when you are ready,
You can start to wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
And slowly start to move your body and stretch up and out.
And coming back to this time and place now,
Feeling calm and peaceful and refreshed.
