Welcome to the Practice Makes Perfect guided meditation.
The purpose of this meditation is to support you in being able to experience having attained in your life,
It could be transformation in yourself or in your work or in your relationships or your health,
To be able to imagine having already achieved that and then to also visualise and feel good about the process of gradual compassionate practice that will lead you from where you are now to where you want to be.
And you can use this meditation for various things in your life at different times.
Today let's just begin with one thing,
Just think of one thing,
What is one thing you'd like to change in your life,
What is one improvement you'd like to make in any area.
Just think of one thing you'd like to bring about transformation.
And just take a moment now to hold in mind,
Imagine that you had gone into a time machine and come out the other end and now whatever it is that you want to change has changed,
So your health could be better,
Your spiritual state has changed,
Your relationships,
Money.
Just think of one thing,
Imagine you come out the time machine,
You've opened the time machine door and you come out and now your life is different.
And you're walking into this wonderful new transformation,
This new change,
What is new and different in your life.
Just notice how you feel in your heart and soul,
Having made that shift,
How would you feel?
Just allow that good feeling to expand,
It's a wonderful feeling,
Imagine it getting bigger and bigger,
That wonderful energy,
It's spinning around inside of you and it's becoming more and more wonderful.
Wonderful smile on your face,
Wonderful contentment,
Satisfaction.
And as you tune into that frequency,
That energy,
That is already within sight of yourself,
The ultimate experience of what you want is here now inside of you.
And let's take a moment now just to tune into what is a practice that you can do starting today that will very compassionately and gently support you in moving from where you are now,
Slowly but surely over to this beautiful vision,
This beautiful future reality.
Just think about one thing,
Could be a shift in your thinking patterns,
Could be a change in your diet or how you relate to things,
Could be all sorts of things,
Just tune into what is one thing that you could do every day that would gently and compassionately move you forward.
And now imagine yourself today,
Tomorrow,
Next week doing that thing,
Whatever it is,
Every day and gradually as you do it again and again through practice,
Just imagine yourself gently improving and your life getting better and everything starting to go up,
Up,
Up as you notice that shift,
Just visualize and feel you ascending as you practice.
It's like you're walking into a path of light and every day things are getting just a little bit better.
Imagine after a week,
After a month,
After six months,
Just feel how it would be as that path of light as you keep practicing,
You keep moving forward as things gently,
Smoothly,
Gracefully keep getting better and better and better.
And just visualize and imagine with a good feeling yourself doing those practices or that practice,
Where would you do it,
When would you do it and imagine yourself feeling good about it,
As the days go by and you keep practicing,
You feel good about it,
You feel improvements happening,
You feel transformation and imagine yourself actually looking forward to your practices that help you make your life better.
So,
This is a beautiful practice.
So,
Just bring yourself back to this regularly,
Visualizing what you wish to become,
Who you wish to become,
What you want to create,
Feel that you've already attained it and then ask yourself what can I do,
What practice,
Daily practice can I do that is going to help me grow and change and then visualize yourself doing those practices because every time you do you're making your whole life just a little bit better and over time as we begin to do these new practices our entire life,
The direction of our life,
Totally changes.
So,
Feel free to come back to this little meditation contemplation whenever you like and you can imagine this with different areas of your life,
From your health to your wealth,
And if you can see yourself doing the things that are going to lead you to where you want to be and if you can feel good about doing those things,
Then every day is a blessed opportunity for real change,
One breath at a time,
One step at a time.
