Good morning.
Welcome,
Opulent mindfulness.
Happy Friday.
Today's meditation is going to serve as fuel for those moments where you feel completely drained.
Raise your hand if you've ever felt this way.
Yes,
It's very common understood.
So I think the best way to deal with it is to first recognize it and lean into it.
Pause.
Be still with it.
And the sense of lack or fear that all of your energy is forever gone will pass within 90 seconds,
Maybe less.
And trust that we are fluid beings moving on a fluid universe and our rhythms are best served when they're in alignment.
And it is winter season.
This is a time to be restful,
Hibernate and thicken our coat a little bit so we can stay warm and endure the elements.
So let's find a comfortable seat.
Press down through your base,
Lift your heart high and find ease in your body.
If you feel comfortable,
Cast your gaze downward and possibly close your eyes altogether.
So when we push against the really strong wall of fatigue,
Whether it's physical or mental or even spiritual fatigue,
We burn ourselves out.
We fry the very wires that ignite our energy.
So this is unproductive.
And this is the perfect time to be quiet,
To pause,
Sit back,
Sit back and instead receive,
Wait it out and let your body truly drop into stillness.
Trusting that your inherent motivation,
Your inner motor will continue and go when it is cared for properly.
This might be a time to instead reflect rather than do.
A time to plant seeds,
Think of new ways,
Generate ideas.
And when we have the energy,
The right action will be taken.
Not a bunch of busy action,
Which again can fry and burn us out.
It will be right,
Full and really quite restorative action.
Action that nourishes not only ourselves,
But when we give action and serve from a place of nourishment,
That which is received by others feels nourishing.
This notion like water for chocolate.
When the cooks prepare food,
They put into the food the same emotion that they're feeling at that time.
So when the guests,
Family,
Friends are consuming the food,
They too will take on the emotion that the chefs felt while preparing the food.
So think about that notion.
The work I plan to do is for the purpose of others.
How are they going to feel when they receive the fruits of my labors?
Therefore,
Choosing the right ingredients,
The right timing,
The right temperatures all matter in our final product.
Being right with yourself matters in the final product.
Drop into your bones.
Be still.
Be quiet.
And just allow the cells to get right with your energy as it is right now.
Right not being good,
Bad right.
Right being in alignment with,
Angled in the proper direction because of magnetic pull.
Simply a recalibration for the season of the year,
Season of the daytime and the season in your life.
All ever changing so we sit daily to recalibrate.
And in this time you really build efficiencies into your mindset,
The way you operate and the way you move.
You will save yourself energy going forth.
I can feel it already.
It's happening.
I feel lifted and light.
Do you?
Notice if your mind is squeezing in on you feeling no control for outcomes.
Someone else is at the reins of your life.
Where can you carve out space and direction that is coming from your unique heart space?
Find a thread,
Follow the thread and then begin to expand the thread over time.
It will work.
Be still.
Press down through your base,
Lift your heart high,
Take a big belly breath in and a long and easeful breath out.
And change will happen.
Sometimes things we can control and sometimes things we cannot control.
So avail your energy,
Malleable agile mind.
Just shift and pivot with grace.
Rest your bones and your mind in this moment.
Refueling and nourishing that ever so powerful motor.
Taking time to let it rest.
Until it's time and you will know.
Namaste.
