We're going to go ahead and do a body scan.
This body scan will help you to feel grounded in your own body,
Grounded in your mind,
And in your spirit.
Go ahead and gently close your eyes.
Take a nice deep breath in through the nose,
Filling up your stomach,
And letting it all out through the mouth.
Go ahead and take another nice deep inhale,
Filling up your body,
Filling up your lungs,
Filling up your stomach,
And letting it all out through the mouth.
Just take one more nice deep breath,
The deepest breath you've done yet,
And just filling up your lungs,
Filling up your mind even,
With oxygen that it needs,
And breathing it all out through the mouth.
Perfect.
Now,
As you bring your awareness now to the bottom of your feet,
Focusing on the bottom of your feet,
Noticing if there's any tension there,
Any tightness,
Anything at all,
Just be aware of it.
Moving up your legs,
Just pausing here and noticing if there's anything in your legs,
Any tension,
Any pulling,
Any tightness,
Anything in your legs,
And moving up to your upper legs,
Noticing what is there right here,
Right now in this present moment.
Is there anything in your upper legs right now?
If there is,
Go ahead and tell it to relax.
Just command it with the word relax,
Relax.
And moving up to your hips,
Notice if there's any tightness,
Tension,
Anything maybe possibly from sitting down for many hours at work,
Many hours at home,
Or even possibly from walking.
This can allow your legs to feel tight if they're not stretched,
So allow your body to relax at this point.
Allow your hips to experience a full relaxation.
Moving up to your lower abdomen,
Noticing is there anything that you're holding there,
Any sensations that have been created by the emotions such as tension,
Tightness,
Anything stored in your stomach.
Be aware of what is going on in your lower abdomen.
Moving up to your upper abdomen,
Notice is there anything there?
And if there is,
Allow your body to command it to relax and let it slowly move out of your body into the nothingness in which it came from,
Allowing your mind to control your body and commanding it to relax.
You can even use the word calm or relieve if that feels better to you.
Allow anything in your stomach to be released and let go of.
Feel it,
Be with it,
Be with these sensations and let them go.
Moving up to your chest,
Pausing here for a minute and noticing,
Are you holding onto anything in your chest?
If you are,
Allow yourself to breathe deeply right into your chest,
Sending the oxygen right down to your chest,
Allowing it to be relieved of any tightness,
Any tension,
Anything that you've been holding onto that might be revolving around anxiety,
Fear,
Worry,
Any of these emotions that have been built up and stored in your chest area.
Just be aware of them and let's let them go.
Continue to breathe into your chest and tell yourself,
Relax,
Relax.
Now moving into the shoulder area,
Notice if there's anything being held here.
Allow your shoulders to gently relax at this point.
You may be having some tension,
Tightness,
Anything.
Notice if they're even shrugged a little bit,
Just allow them to relax and gently all of this tension will be released back into the nothingness in which it came.
Moving down to your upper arms,
All the way down your arms,
Exit out through your fingertips,
Allowing it to completely disappear and evaporate out through your fingertips.
Imagine this energy moving out of your body.
Imagine a brown color flowing out your body and as it exits,
It transforms into a beautiful energy color,
A bluish greenish color entering inside your body and moving up your arms,
Filling up your arms with this new energy.
So bringing your awareness now to your neck,
Allowing your neck to relax and noticing if there's any tension or tightness or pulling anything heavy in your neck that is just there.
Allow yourself to feel it,
Be with it and sit with it and let it go.
Allowing yourself to bring your awareness now to your jaw.
There's usually a lot of tension being held in your jaw,
So allow it to relax.
Your jaw is just relaxing right now at this point in this very moment.
It's a very relaxing sensation.
Moving up to your face,
It's completely allowing your eyes to relax,
Your eyes still closed,
Of course.
Your facial muscles are just relaxing and moving this energy up to the top of your head,
All this awareness at the top of your head,
Allowing your entire body to relax.
Imagine all this energy that we just built up,
All this tension that we just released.
Imagine it a grayish color just coming out of the top of your head and going back into the nothingness in which it came.
All of this energy is flowing out of your body as you're continuing to heal.
And now this bluish greenish energy entering through the top of your head and now it's moving down through your body,
Moving down your facial muscles,
Down to your jaw,
Filling it with healing energy,
Moving all the way down your neck.
This bluish greenish energy is moving around through your shoulders,
Down your arms,
All the way down,
Down,
Down,
All the way through your fingertips and all the way back up to your shoulders again.
Moving right into your chest,
To your big beautiful heart,
Filling it with healing energy and moving down to your upper abdomen as it's completely cleansing everything that's been held in there.
Everything that was stored,
It's completely cleansing with this bluish greenish energy.
Now moving down to your lower abdomen,
Filling it with love,
Peace,
Harmony,
Healing energy,
Moving down to your hips,
Allowing it to be refreshed,
Renewed,
And moving down your legs all the way down to your lower legs and all the way down to your feet.
Just imagine all of this bluish greenish energy,
All moving through your feet,
Moving out the tips of your toes back into the universe as you're releasing all of this refreshing energy that's been given to you from the universe.
