Welcome fellow menopause sister.

I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.

My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.

Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.

By promoting relaxation,

Reducing stress and anxiety,

And improving sleep and mood,

Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.

Today is day number 23.

Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.

Close your eyes.

Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And then exhale through your mouth,

Helping your entire body to relax.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.

The focus for today's meditation is on prioritizing self-care.

During menopause,

It can be easy to forget the importance of self-care.

With so many physical and emotional changes happening,

It can feel overwhelming to prioritize yourself.

But taking care of yourself during this time is crucial for your overall well-being.

Take a moment to honor yourself and all that you have been through.

Menopause is a time of transition and it can be challenging,

But it is also a time of growth and transformation.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Allow yourself to feel any emotions that come up.

It's okay to feel sadness,

Anger or frustration during this time.

Self-care during menopause can take many forms.

It might mean getting enough rest,

Eating a healthy diet or taking time for exercise or relaxation.

It can also mean taking a break from your daily routine.

It can be a time of relaxation,

A time to think about your health and your well-being.

It can be a time of relaxation,

A time to think about your health and your well-being.

It might also mean seeking support from family,

Friends or a health care professional.

Whatever form your self-care takes,

Remember that you deserve it.

You are worthy of love,

Care and attention,

Especially during this time of transition.

As you come to the end of your meditation,

Take another deep breath and bring your attention back to the present moment.

Remember that self-care is an ongoing practice and it is never too late to start taking care of yourself.

And now,

In your mind's eye,

I want you to picture your beautiful face.

And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me,

Out loud.

I honour my body and mind during this time of transition.

I am worthy of love and care,

Especially during menopause.

Self-care is not selfish,

It is necessary for my well-being.

I prioritise my own needs and take time for self-care every day.

I listen to my body and give it what it needs during menopause.

I am strong and capable of navigating this transition with grace and ease.

I trust my intuition and make choices that support my health and well-being.

I release any guilt or shame around taking care of myself during menopause.

I am grateful for this opportunity to learn and grow through this transition.

I am at peace with myself and my body during menopause and I trust the journey.

When you are ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

And roll your shoulders back and down.

And slowly begin to blink your eyes open.

Congratulations on completing today's meditation.
