Hello.

On the day of the new moon,

We join together to recognize the beginning of a new cycle,

The moon cycle.

This new cycle begins with the moon in its shadow,

And is not even visible in the clearest of skies.

Tomorrow the moon will begin its growth journey to become full in just two weeks time.

For generations,

We've marked time in cycles with the moon.

When we draw our attention to the cycles of the moon,

It can begin to connect us to that wild and wise space within each of us.

The new moon is a potent time to reflect on the past four weeks and notice the challenges and obstacles we've overcome.

It's so important to pause in our journey of this busy life and notice our growth,

Perhaps taking the time to document your growth with an accomplishments journal.

Similar to how parents sometimes measure their children's height or growth by making small marks on the wall or doorway,

Checking into those small moments of growth each cycle can help ease our inner child.

The new moon is also a beautiful time to set intentions or goals for the next four week cycle.

Reflecting,

Not only on where we're going,

But where and how we are living right now.

Are we living as beautiful and vibrant being here on earth fully aligned with our higher self?

Take a comfortable seat,

Close your eyes or drop your gaze so that your attention is focused inward.

Tune into the rhythm of your breath.

Notice if there was an automatic change to the rhythm of your breath as you drew your attention there.

Allow yourself to breathe slowly and steady in and out of your nose.

As you exhale,

Let go of any attention.

Relax.

Let your shoulders drop away from your ears.

Relax the muscles around your eyes.

Observe your physical body.

Observe your physical body.

What sensations do you feel?

Observe your energy levels.

How are you feeling energetically?

Tune into your emotional body.

What emotions are you feeling right now?

What emotions have been present in your life lately?

Is there an area of your life you'd like to set a goal or an intention for?

How are you doing?

The first step to making a change is realizing the need for a change.

Is there an area of your life that comes to mind that you feel is in need of a change?

Can you think of one actionable step to begin this cycle so that you can move toward that change?

We can use the energy of the new moon to start a new project or pick up a new hobby,

Perhaps give up a bad habit,

Repair a broken relationship.

Whatever growth journey you choose this cycle may bring you one step closer to being the person you desire to be.

I believe we can do anything we desire if we just put away the distractions and focus on where we're going.

Just like breath,

You need to release the exhale to make space for the inhale.

What do you need to release now to make room for something new later?

This new moon is a brilliant time to get lots of rest,

Recharge your emotional battery,

And focus on wellness so that you feel rejuvenated enough to take on whatever obstacles come your way.

The new moon is also a wonderful time to script out your wildest manifestations in a journal and trust that you are already on your way to receiving everything you've ever wanted.

As we begin to take our session together to an end,

Take the deepest breath in and then exhale with a sigh.

Repeat that cleansing breath again and again as many times as it feels good.

Breathing out,

Letting go,

Breathing back in.

Open your eyes and gaze around the room.

Welcome some gentle movements and thank you for welcoming this new moon cycle with me.
