Hello.
To begin,
Find a comfortable seat.
Find a space where you can be free of distractions,
A space where you can begin to feel calm and centered and grounded.
Feel your sit bones connecting to the seat beneath you into the earth,
Allowing yourself to sit up nice and tall,
Or perhaps you're lying down with a nice long spine dropping into your body.
Finally,
Just notice where you might be feeling any tension or stress,
And then dropping into the breath,
Taking a deep breath in through your nose and then slowly exhaling back out through your nose.
Taking a few breaths like this,
And on the exhales,
Relaxing the shoulders,
Letting them drop away from the ears,
Allowing the muscles in your face to soften.
Let your hands fall at your sides or into your lap,
And just enter into this fully relaxed state of stillness.
The full moon comes each month and calls upon us to see where we can move on,
To see what we need to let go of,
Or what areas in our life could use some releasing.
It's a good time to get yourself back on the right track.
And it's also important to keep your thoughts positive during a lunation.
That doesn't mean that you bypass or ignore all your negative thoughts.
It simply means it is a time to feel all of your feelings.
During this full moon,
When you feel those feelings,
They all come forward,
You process them,
Let them go,
And then reach for the most positive thought that you possibly can.
To do this,
You bring your focus to all of the many great things that we have in our life.
Tap into the energy of gratitude whenever those negative emotions,
Feelings,
And thoughts seem to be taking over your mind.
And now ask yourself during this full moon,
What is it that you are releasing?
Perhaps it's unfavorable habits.
Perhaps you have limiting beliefs that are stopping you from going where you want to go.
Perhaps it is a toxic relationship or just some negative emotions and thoughts.
What in your life is no longer serving you?
What is something that you are ready to let go of?
The full moon is also a great time to clean your home,
Purge any unnecessary or unneeded items,
Removing all things that you no longer need.
Perhaps a good time to cleanse your home with some sage,
Releasing and removing all of the energies in your home that no longer serve you.
Now imagine this full moon illuminating above you,
Shining brightly in the dark,
Dark sky.
It's soft white glow with all of its power.
Imagine that this moonlight is shining down,
Cleansing your mind,
Body,
And spirit of all negativity,
All doubts,
And all fears.
You allow these energies to dissolve into the earth so that you can feel more free and less weighed down.
Just like the moon shining above you,
You wish to feel whole and fully aligned with your highest self,
Tapping into this new renewed energy that you are receiving from the moon above.
Take another couple of breaths deep in through your nose,
Perhaps maybe this time now exhaling through your mouth,
Really releasing and letting go of anything that you're not willing to hold on to for this next moon cycle.
And then when you're ready,
Slowly bringing your awareness back to the present moment.
You can gently open your eyes if they were closed.
Take a look around the room,
Notice what you see.
Perhaps something instantly catches your eye that you can purge,
Get rid of,
Cleanse,
Clean up.
You may want to journal any thoughts or feelings that came up during this meditation.
