Take a comfortable seat sitting in a chair or cross-legged on the floor.
Feel your feet and your sitting bones grounding down into the earth.
Make sure your spine is straight,
Your shoulders are down and back,
Your chin is tucked in,
And your hands are relaxed in your lap.
Gently close your eyes and your lips.
Take in a deep breath through your nose and feel your belly.
And slowly release the air out through your nose.
Take in another deep breath through your nose and slowly release the air through your nose.
Bring all of your attention to the here and now.
Let go of any thoughts,
Any internal dialogue,
And allow yourself the gift to just be here.
Every time a thought pops up,
Just let it go and come back to your breath.
Don't judge yourself for thinking.
Don't buy into the stories.
Just simply let them go.
Take in another deep breath through your nose and feel your belly.
And slowly release the air.
Take in another deep breath through your nose.
And slowly release the air.
Relax your whole body.
Let go of any tension or tightness or stiffness in the body.
Let it melt away.
Down your body,
Drip down your body into the floor.
Let it melt down off your spine,
Down your legs,
And into the earth.
Continue to take deep,
Long,
And in and out breaths.
Now I want you to visualize a color.
The first color that pops to your mind is perfect.
Stick with that color.
On the inhale,
I want you to breathe in that color.
Breathe in that light.
And on the exhale,
Let it out.
On the inhale,
Deeply breathe in your color and let it fill every cell in your body.
And on the exhale,
Let it come out through your pores.
Take in another deep inhale,
Breathing in your color.
Let it fill every inch of your body.
Down to your toes.
And exhale,
Let the color pour out of your pores.
Continue to breathe in your color so it fills every inch,
Every cell in your body.
And on the exhale,
Make sure it comes out every single pore and hair follicle in your body.
Continue to breathe in your color.
Continue to breathe in your color until it is a ball of light around you.
A bubble of light,
Of your colored light.
Once you have your ball around you,
Your protection field,
This is your safe area.
No one can get in and steal your energy.
And you don't have to give out any of your energy.
You can choose who you let take your energy and who you let your energy go out to.
If negativity comes towards you,
It just bounces off your light and rebounds back.
You don't have to let it in your protective field unless you want to.
If there's people in your life who zap your energy,
It will suck energy out of you.
Do this meditation before you go to see them.
Do this in the car before you go to a birthday or an event.
Surround yourself with your protective light so that no one can zap your energy.
No one can drain you.
And no one can take that away from you unless you choose to let them.
Feel the protective ball around you.
Feel the safety and security within yourself.
Allow yourself to really feel that.
Do this meditation every morning before you go out into the world.
No one can take your energy away from you unless you let them.
Sit for a few more moments.
Really allow yourself to feel that love and safety and security within your protective light.
Do this meditation every morning before you go out into the world.
No one can take your energy away from you unless you choose to let them.
Feel the protective ball around you.
Feel the safety and security within yourself.
You can even smile if you like.
Taking a deep breath through your nose and out through your nose.
And another deep breath in through your nose and a calm breath out.
Take this out with you into your day.
Feel that safety and love within yourself and know that you can tap back into that at any moment throughout the day.
If anyone is draining you or you feel like someone's stealing your energy,
Take a moment,
Close your eyes and breathe in your protective light.
Slowly crack open your eyes very gently.
Take a few moments just to sit and be still before you get up and carry on with your day.
