Welcome to this morning Menopause Affirmation practice.

Wherever and however you are this morning,

You're welcome.

There's nothing required of you here.

The invitation is to simply listen and receive.

So allow your attention to turn inwards,

Taking a couple of slower,

Deeper breaths and we'll begin.

Today,

As much as possible,

I give myself permission to go gently with myself.

In going gently with myself,

I am honouring this time of transformation I am in and I am honouring myself.

Today,

I honour myself by giving myself permission to say no when I need to.

I honour myself by letting go of any unrealistic expectations of myself.

Today,

I value myself enough to take my needs seriously and I value myself enough to meet my needs wherever I can.

Today,

Whatever else is going on,

I open to finding moments to listen deeply to myself.

Today,

I open to feeling all the emotions that arise in me as part of this process.

If I find myself experiencing difficult feelings,

I will hold myself with tenderness.

I do my best to feel my feelings just as feelings.

Without making them mean anything they do not mean and without making myself wrong for what I feel.

I allow myself to process and release my feelings and emotions as gracefully as possible.

And if there are times when it doesn't look so graceful,

I will be really gentle with myself then too.

I am going through a process and I give myself permission to be messy and human and real as I navigate my way through this.

I open again and again to receiving support wherever it is available,

Including from myself.

I open to the possibility that I am supported in this process in ways I can't even see.

And I open to the possibility that something good is happening in this process even if I can't always see it.

Today,

More and more,

I open to treating my menopause process as wise,

Sacred and deserving of respect.

Today,

More and more,

I open to treating myself as wise,

Sacred and deserving of respect.

Today,

I open to treating myself with more kindness,

More gentleness and more love.

Again and again,

I allow my menopause process to open me to love.

Today,

Throughout my menopause process and always,

I choose to treat myself with love.
