Welcome to this meditation.
In this meditation you'll be invited to call in all parts of yourself,
Body,
Heart,
Mind and soul,
To establish a connection to each of these parts,
Enabling you to feel a sense of wholeness,
Of coming home to yourself,
Of self-acceptance and of being grounded,
Connected.
So settle in and find a comfortable seat.
You may even prefer to lie down.
So take a few moments to decide where you would like to complete this practice,
Seated or lying down.
And as you settle in,
Making any adjustments to your body to find as much ease as you can.
Perhaps a softening of the belly,
Softening of your neck and shoulders,
Softening the muscles around your eyes,
Settling in.
Now bring your awareness to your whole body.
Begin by noticing any sensations that are most obvious to you.
Perhaps the sensation of your breath,
A hum of energy around your hands,
The sensation of contact where you'll see to your back.
Meet the earth or supported by something behind you or underneath you.
Noticing that you are connected to that which supports you.
Notice the pressure where your body meets this support.
Notice that your body is here,
It is present for this practice together.
Welcoming in your body no matter how it feels.
Your body may feel tired,
You may be experiencing discomfort or pain of some sort,
You may feel a lot of freedom in your body.
However you feel in your body,
Welcome your body to the practice allowing.
Now bring your awareness to your heart,
Your beautiful heart.
Welcoming in your heart to this practice and all hearts are welcome here.
Joyful hearts,
Broken hearts,
Grieving hearts and happy hearts.
No matter what is present in your heart welcome it in.
Let there be space for your heart,
Exactly how it's showing up.
Welcome your heart with all of its emotions.
All is welcome,
All a part of our human experience calling in your heart.
Now bring your awareness up to your mind,
Centring your awareness in the center of your head.
Welcoming in your mind to the practice.
Welcoming in your thoughts whether they're pleasant or unpleasant or neutral.
Welcoming in your mind,
Busy minds,
Quiet minds,
Tired minds,
Curious minds.
Welcome your mind to the practice with an openness and an acceptance of however your mind is showing up.
You'll notice it will change from day to day with this practice.
Same goes for your heart and your body.
When you become quiet and still you'll notice the subtle shifts and changes.
Noticing the impermanence of it all,
How your body shows up,
Your heart and your mind.
And so here we are together,
Body,
Heart and mind welcome.
Allowing them into this space of quiet,
Of loving awareness.
Notice how you feel and however you feel is perfect.
Just notice how does it feel to welcome in all parts of yourself,
Body,
Heart and mind.
And if it resonates for you please also welcome in your soul or what you might call spirit,
Divinity,
Your true essence,
Who you really are,
Beyond your body,
Your emotions and your thoughts.
Welcoming in your soul.
Notice how this feels,
How this resonates for you.
Can you feel into a sense of connection,
Body,
Heart,
Mind and soul?
Do you simply know that the connections there,
Perhaps it's not a felt sense and that's perfect.
Now see if you can simultaneously hold the focus,
The beautiful connection between your body,
Feeling your body here in this present moment,
Seated or lying down connected to the earth.
Noticing the connection of body to heart,
Body to heart and mind and the overall connection,
Body,
Heart,
Mind and soul.
And taking a few more moments here to settle,
To feel,
To sense,
To know that you are whole and you are complete and you are worthy of love,
Of acceptance and you are always enough,
Always.
Slowly beginning to emerge out of this meditation,
Gently open your eyes allowing the light in,
Making any movement through your body,
Stretching gently.
Perhaps you resolve to go about your day from this place of connection.
Anytime you notice a separateness within yourself or between others,
Just take a few moments to reconnect.
Call in your body,
Call in your heart,
Call in your mind and welcome in that beautiful divine spark that exists within you and all of us.
Namaste.
