Hello,
Thank you for joining at this very moment in this very time.
I invite you to step on in and make yourself comfortable wherever you are.
Find a space where you will not be distracted and you can just sit down,
Whatever is comfortable,
And allow your body to settle in.
Give yourself a little bit of a nod for showing up here for this time for yourself and for this bit of a journey.
I invite you to go ahead and become aware of your breath,
Breathing in through the nostrils and exhaling through the nostrils as well.
Go ahead and observe your breath,
How it feels on the inhale,
How it feels on the exhale.
Bring your awareness as if you are following right along with it.
Just notice as you're tracking it,
Has anything shifted?
Perhaps merely the awareness is bringing a deeper breath,
Perhaps it's bringing a greater exhale,
Or sometimes we even sense a slowing down.
It's all perfect.
We're just bringing our attention here.
Now the next few cycles of breath,
I'm going to invite you to bring in that breath,
Being mindful of bringing in the extra oxygen to every cell in your body,
Almost as if as you bring again,
It's replenishment,
All parts within your physical being.
As you're exhaling,
I invite you to become mindful that you could actually be pushing out stale,
Stale energy,
Energy that is not in movement,
And you can release it.
As you bring in that breath,
Perhaps you're going to expand around the belly,
The waist,
The ribs.
I invite you to pause and hold for a moment that space.
When you're ready,
Give a good exhale,
Allowing that which no longer serves you or that which is stale or that which is lacking in movement.
Exhale it out.
Today we're going to explore a little bit about guidance,
And that might mean many different things.
Allow whatever comes to you to be okay and just perfect for where you are and what your inner self might be inviting at this moment.
As you continue with your breathing,
I'm going to invite you to figuratively stand up,
And there is a path.
You're able to go ahead and just step onto that path and start walking.
It's not going to be too long.
We're going to be entering into a garden.
It's not too far ahead,
But as you're walking,
I invite you to just sense everything around you.
Just bring your awareness.
Perhaps you're hearing things.
Perhaps you are seeing.
Whatever senses are picking up,
Just go with it.
Just allow.
As you get into that garden area,
There's a couple of paths,
And it's quite lovely.
Look around,
And I invite you to just pause and notice.
Do you feel anything?
What does it feel like?
As you're picking up,
Feeling that that could be an inner knowing,
An inner speaking or guide,
Or it could be temperature on your skin,
The air,
Perhaps the clothing.
I invite you now to integrate your other senses.
Can you smell anything?
Do you see textures?
This garden holds many things,
And one of them is a small dwelling,
Very comfortable.
I invite you to follow,
Make your way on that path to that dwelling.
You come to the door,
And I invite you to ask yourself in this time,
In this very moment,
What is it that I would like to have a deeper knowing about?
On that threshold,
As something comes to you,
Listen to whatever your inner knowing is sharing.
Go ahead and take that step inside.
In this space,
It's very lovely,
It's very comfortable,
And it brings a smile across your face,
For the comfort is just perfect.
Temperature is just perfect.
It's really nice.
Go ahead,
As you find yourself in this lovely room and space,
Go ahead and find a place where you can just sit down,
Make yourself comfortable,
Feel the chair,
The bench,
Just supporting you.
Then as you look up and look across,
There is a bookshelf,
And it's filled with many beautiful books.
It's not in the way,
It's just there.
I invite you to scan with your eyes across the books and see if any particular one stands out to you.
When you're ready,
If there is one particular one that stands out to you,
I invite you to figuratively get up,
Walk over,
And draw or pull it out of that shelf,
Of that shelf.
If perhaps you are not drawn to a particular one,
I invite you to just go ahead and ask yourself,
Which one has something for me today?
Go ahead and choose that.
Once you have that book,
Go back to that place you were sitting,
And once again,
Sit down and make yourself comfortable.
Now for the next few minutes,
As you're in this chair,
As you're there with the book,
That will contain just what is right for you,
For your knowing,
For your deeper awareness,
You're holding it in your hands,
On your lap.
Go ahead and take this moment to feel what it's like.
Feel the cover,
The spine,
The paper edges,
And when you're ready,
I invite you to go ahead and focusing on that book and that question,
Or that area where you would like some guidance,
I invite you to go ahead and open that book just where you're guided.
As it sits open on your lap,
I invite you to take a look and see if there are words that want to be shared.
As you're exploring this or sitting with it,
May not be words,
But maybe,
Or maybe images,
Or it may be an essence,
Maybe a book of essence,
Whatever it is and however you're being given the opportunity to receive information,
Open yourself up.
And if you need a pause,
I invite you to,
With the book open,
And with your heart open,
And with this whole concept of allowing the deeper information to come to you,
I invite you to bring your attention briefly,
Ever so briefly,
To your inhalation and your exhalation,
And the inhalation for the increasing of awareness and receiving,
And the exhalation for making well,
Another cycle for the inhalation,
And also for the exhalation.
Now go ahead and bring your attention back to this book,
However it comes to your senses.
You may feel it first,
And I invite you now to ask very specific questions.
And I also invite you,
If there's another part of you inside that's not sure,
Or reacting in some way,
Go ahead and assure yourself,
Hey,
I'm here,
We can walk this path together,
And if it feels right,
You can offer that part of yourself,
Take my hand,
And let's explore this book together.
Let's explore what I'm really needing to hear,
See,
Sense,
So we can open it up,
Bring a little light to it.
And if you feel that you should be turning the page,
Or going to a different part of the book,
That's okay.
Give yourself another few seconds.
And now I invite you to come back right into that heart chakra,
You're still holding the book,
And I'm going to invite you to open it pretty much to one of the back few pages,
Because they're open,
And they're inviting you to write into that book whatever you would like to share out to that book,
Out onto that page.
So if there's something inside of you,
Figuratively,
Go ahead and give yourself permission to share it on that page.
There's a few pages in the back,
And they're open,
And they're just for you,
For your teaching,
For your wisdom.
Maybe take just a few more seconds.
And when you're ready,
Just go ahead and close that book and hold it on your lap and bring your attention right back to the breath,
Tracking the inhalation and the exhalation,
And whatever cadence your body has,
And whatever cadence your breath has,
They invite you to connect it with your heart.
And while you have your breath connected to your heart,
And you're matching up that rhythm,
I also now invite you to go down to that second chakra,
Which is in the belly,
Below the belly button,
Bring the awareness and allow that breath pace,
That cadence,
Connecting with the heart chakra,
And then integrating with that second chakra,
Allowing it all to be flowing at that same rhythm,
Same cadence.
And now I'm going to ask you just to bring it back to the heart,
And then back to the breath.
And I invite you to take a very large inhale,
And then give a very large exhale.
And when you're ready,
Go ahead and stand up with your book in hand,
And bring back to that bookshelf.
Go ahead and slide it back in,
Could be in the same spot,
Or you might see a different space where you want to put it in.
And as you're putting it in,
If you wish,
You may give some gratitude,
A little bit of wisdom,
A little bit of guidance or path.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to go ahead and turn around and come to that door,
And step over the threshold out into the garden,
And take a look around.
And perhaps you may want to move your head a little bit,
Loosen your neck,
Move your shoulders,
Roll those shoulders back,
Opening that chest plane.
And I invite you to go ahead and take a path of your choosing back through the garden,
Just taking in what you sense,
What you feel,
What you see,
With the awareness that you're carrying a bit of guidance,
A new perspective,
Perhaps a widened lens.
I invite you to just allow that to settle in,
And go ahead and take a big inhale in your garden,
And allow a very good exhale,
And then continue your way out to the edge of the garden.
And then we will be having one more threshold.
So I invite you to thank this space that has held your journey.
And then go ahead and step out and bring yourself and your awareness right back into where you are at this very moment.
Bring your awareness again to your breath,
The inhalation in through the nose,
And the exhalation through the nose.
And you are right here in this present moment,
In this present space,
Your whole being,
And how grand that is.
And I invite you at this time before we close,
To thank yourself for showing up,
For choosing to be open to this exploration,
This guided journey meditation that really was about gaining some inner guidance.
So when you're ready,
Just go ahead and you may open your eyes and say hello to the day.
