So just finding your way into a comfortable position,

Lying down.

Your legs extended long.

Your arms resting wherever feels natural and normal.

Lightly closing down your eyes.

And in your own time,

Taking three deep cleansing breaths.

Inhaling slowly through your nose.

And exhaling audibly through your mouth.

Allowing yourself to arrive here in this moment.

Letting go of everything that's happened throughout your day.

Knowing that this is your time now to simply relax and let go.

Letting go of any tension.

Letting go of any tension or tightness you might be holding on to in your body.

Feeling your body sinking a little deeper down into the comfort of your bed beneath you.

Allowing everything else to start to melt away.

As you begin to settle down.

Quieten down.

Knowing that this is your time to clear your mind for sleep.

Simply giving yourself permission to be here in this moment.

Filling into the gentle rising and falling of your breath.

Feeling your breath flowing like the waves of the ocean.

Your breath coming and going.

Without any effort or control.

As you continue to observe the breath.

You might start to notice the energy of slowing down and letting go.

Waving its way throughout your body.

Beginning to experience a sense of respite from the busyness of your day.

And if your mind wanders off into the future.

Into planning,

Analysing or problem solving.

Know that this is perfectly okay.

All you have to do is simply guide your awareness back to the gentleness of your breath.

And the sense of softening that you're experiencing in your body.

With each inhalation.

Clearing away what's no longer needed.

And with each exhalation.

Softening any tension.

Letting go of any troubles you've had throughout your day.

Feeling your breath as your companion.

Helping you to power down from all that's happened throughout this day.

Breathing in a sense of calmness and peace.

And breathing out.

Just letting go.

Allowing your breath to soothe and nourish you.

And letting go.

Continuing to breathe and relax.

Knowing that all that matters in this moment is just you and your breath.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And with each exhalation.

Feeling your whole body sinking deeper and deeper.

Into the embrace of the bed beneath you.

And letting go.

And your breath becomes slower.

Deeper.

Your whole body heavy and relaxed.

Allowing yourself to surrender into the stillness.

Feeling relaxed and at peace.

Fully prepared for a deep restorative sleep.

Staying with the breath and the body.

As you continue to quietly listen to the music.

Knowing that when you're ready.

You'll simply drift off to sleep.

Peaceful,

Restorative sleep.

Surrendering into sleep.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

And letting go.

I really enjoyed this one, from what I can remember. I was able to fall asleep before hearing the whole thing, which is the intent of this meditation.
