Welcome,
Friend.
I'm Meg Burton-Tudman,
And I thank you for showing up here for yourself.
You belong here.
The intention of this meditation is to support you in reflecting and beginning again.
I invite you to position yourself comfortably.
As you settle in,
Gently take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling up completely.
And when you're ready,
Gently release it through your mouth.
Again,
Deep inhale through your nose,
Followed by a deep exhale through your mouth.
A few more times,
Gently,
Deeply and steadily breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And now,
As best you're able,
Breathe in and out through your nose,
Feeling your belly rise and fall with each breath.
On your next exhale,
Allow your eyes to soften.
Continue to breathe and move your attention to your jaw and release any clenching or tightness.
Now allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears and relax your hands and fingers,
Gently opening them in a position to receive.
Continue to breathe and feel your belly rise and fall.
Draw your attention to your legs and let them soften and relax.
Step down to your feet and toes and release any tension there.
Take another deep cleansing breath.
Tune inward.
You may notice your mind and your body are a little less busy.
So in this mindful and receptive state,
I invite you to repeat the following affirmations to yourself to prepare for reflection and to prepare to begin again.
I learn and grow from my reflections.
I value curiosity and compassion for myself.
I value curiosity and compassion for myself.
I am worthy of reflecting and beginning again.
I am worthy of reflecting and beginning again.
I am capable of reflecting and beginning again.
I am capable of reflecting and beginning again.
I consciously create my reality.
I consciously create my reality.
I begin again.
I begin again.
Take a deep cleansing breath and feel that high vibrational energy of those affirmations.
Let that wash over you as you imagine those affirmations are your truth at this moment.
I learn and grow from my reflections.
I value curiosity and compassion for myself.
I am worthy of reflecting and beginning again.
I am capable of reflecting and beginning again.
I consciously create my reality.
I begin again.
As you continue to breathe and when you're ready,
I invite you to bring yourself back to this moment and space.
Give a gentle wiggle to your fingers and toes.
Stretch through your arms and legs.
Allow your eyelids to flutter open.
Pause for a moment as you soak in that energy,
The shift that you've created to prepare yourself to reflect and begin again.
Thank you,
Friend,
From my heart to yours,
Sending you so much love and light.
Thank you.
