Transcript

Find a comfortable position to rest.

The eyes slightly open or closed.

Trying to welcome the environment and the sounds around you.

Notice the air on your skin.

Notice where your body touches the surface that's supporting it.

Allowing the body and mind to settle.

Allowing the intention you brought for this practice.

Just feel it resonate as true in this moment.

And feeling into your inner sanctuary a place of ease.

Conjuring all of the senses.

Bringing this feeling of ease and security in this and every moment.

Now bringing attention to sensations.

In the mouth.

In the jaw.

In the tongue.

In the throat.

The cheeks.

Feeling,

Not thinking your way to the forehead and the scalp.

Down the neck and shoulders.

Both hands and arms at the same time.

Torso and pelvis revealing sensations.

Noticing sensation in the hips and both legs and feet.

Your entire body revealing sensations.

Observing this experience just the way it is.

While affirming to yourself,

I am aware.

I am at ease and I am grounded.

Shifting attention to noticing the body breathing.

The belly expanding and releasing.

Just allowing and noticing the body breathing.

And again feeling into that inner resource.

Your place of peace and ease and well-being with each breath.

Observing emotions and thoughts coming and going without trying to change them.

Allowing the experience just as it is.

If it's helpful you may welcome opposites of these emotions.

The opposite of these thoughts and feelings.

Notice you are being called to take action that may help you feel in harmony with yourself and the world around you.

Welcoming in feelings of ease and well-being throughout your entire body.

And being with the joy of simply observing.

Being.

Imagine going back into your waking life.

All the while bringing these feelings with you while your life is unfolding.

As you're ready open and close your eyes.

Several times while welcoming again that inner resource of feeling grounded and connected to Mother Earth and yourself and everything around you.

Seeing these feelings of security and ease.

Coming back to your eyes open,

Wide awake.

Alert state of mind and body.

Allowing the feeling of well-being to remain with you as you move back now into your waking life.
