I'm just settling into a comfortable resting position.

Eyes open or closed.

Welcome the environment and sounds.

The feeling of the air on your skin.

Feeling where your body is touching the surface it rests upon.

Your body and mind.

Settling into feeling at rest and at ease.

Let's recall your intention for this meditation practice today.

Welcome it in.

Feel how it may support you.

Now welcoming sensations beginning in the jaw,

The mouth,

Ears,

Eyes,

Forehead,

Scalp.

Feeling the entire head down the neck and shoulders.

To the arms and the palms,

Fingers,

Torso and pelvis.

Fits,

Hips,

Legs and feet.

Your entire body revealing sensations.

Just welcoming this experience the way it is.

Notice the breath as the abdomen releases and expands.

Welcoming feelings of ease and well-being in your body.

And the joy of simply being.

Imagine going about your daily life all the while awake and aware.

Awareness in which all of life is unfolding.

And as you're ready,

Just slowly begin to open and close the eyes.

Several times while welcoming your inner joy and feelings of grounded and connected to yourself.

And the world around you.

Feeling secure and at ease.

And as you're ready,

Eyes opening,

Wiggling the fingers and toes.

Back to your alert,

Wide awake state.
