Hi friends,
Happy Sunday.
Welcome to your meditation.
My name is Amber and today's practice is intended to help you reset your mind so you can feel ready for your week.
Let's get started.
Alright,
Let's start in the seated position today with your spine long and tall and let's start with a big luxurious morning stretch to kick off our practice and our week.
Inhale,
Reach your arms out to the sides and then overhead and stretch,
Perhaps clasping the hands together and maybe leaning side to side to get a good stretch in the side body.
And on your exhale,
Release the arms back to your sides.
Place the hands by your sides or in your lap and gently closing the eyes.
Inhale and let the breath fall naturally out of the mouth,
Just being here now.
Take a moment here before we rush off and prepare for our week to be still and be present.
Sunday is a perfect time to pause and reflect and reset your environment,
Your body,
And your mind.
And preparing for the future is a really important act of self-care,
But we don't want to be so busy getting our lives together that we forget to live it and enjoy the present moment.
So just take a few minutes here to check in with yourself.
How are you doing?
How are you feeling today?
Not judging whatever we find,
Just taking note and remembering that every moment that we are present and aware is an opportunity to start something new.
Sometimes it can be helpful to start the week with a mantra or an affirmation that can serve as an internal guide for the week,
Something that you can come back to.
Maybe one of these will resonate with you or maybe it'll inspire one that you come up for yourself.
And it doesn't have to be a phrase,
It can be an idea or a single word.
It's completely up to you.
Go with whatever feels right for you.
I control how I spend my time.
I control how I spend my energy.
I can do anything,
But not everything.
I live out my values and priorities with my thoughts and actions.
I have everything I need to have an amazing week.

Checking in with the breath here,
Take a deep inhale and exhale.
And if your mind has drifted away,
Let's return,
Come back to setting an intention for your week.
Perhaps choosing a phrase or affirmation that can serve as a reminder of how you want to show up this week.
Who will you show up as?
As we come to the end of today's meditation,
I hope you're feeling refreshed,
Rested,
And inspired to take on the week ahead.
Let's bring the palms together to touch at the front of the chest.
Take one last deep breath and open the eyes whenever you feel ready.
