Hi friends!

It's time for our daily affirmation,

Inspiration,

And mindful journaling prompt.

Today I'm reading Inspiration 325.

I Show Up for Myself.

You prioritize your well-being and make time for the things that matter most to you.

You take care of your body,

Mind,

And spirit,

And you know that self-care is not selfish,

But necessary for a fulfilling life.

You set boundaries and say no to things that do not align with your values and goals.

You are your own best advocate,

And you stand up for yourself and what you believe in.

Take responsibility for your life and the choices you make,

And know that you have the power to create the life you desire.

One thing that pops up for me is that taking responsibility part,

And I talked about my sister yesterday,

And my sister is big on this.

She's very big on taking responsibility for your own life and what happens for you,

And advocating for yourself.

She's about advocating for yourself,

Especially medically,

Because she has some medical issues.

It's important to advocate for yourself and to stand up for your values.

If you believe in something and your values reflect that,

Then your actions need to mirror those values.

You may have goals,

But your goals along the way need to reflect your values.

If you are fudging a bit on your values to reach a particular goal,

Maybe you need to rethink about what that goal is or how you want to get to that goal.

This is all about taking care of yourself.

Maintaining our values and be clear about them and trusting ourselves is about self-care.

Holding on to your values and your morals is important,

And your self-care and everything that you do has to reflect that.

Your mindful journaling prompt today is,

What are the ways I prioritize my own needs?

Absolutely.

Take care of yourself.

As long as you're not hurting anybody else while you're doing it,

Life is good.
