This meditation will allow you to express loving kindness for all, sending loving thoughts to those you are close to, to those you have challenges with as well as complete strangers, creating calm and peace within yourself. Compassion restores balance and grace to our lives. We manifest empathy, which is what heals us and enables us to experience real connection. This practice ends with a moment of reflection. Hello and welcome.

Welcome to this safe place.

Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.

Find a comfortable position.

Relax.

Releasing any tension in your body.

Notice your breathing.

Tune into each breath as it happens.

Notice the sensation of breathing.

Breathe deeply.

Cleanse and fill your body with the pure air around you.

Pause for this moment and allow yourself just to be.

By welcoming empathy and compassion into our hearts and minds,

We create love for ourselves and others.

Simply recognize how you experience each moment as we go through the process together.

As you send loving kindness to each individual or group,

Accept whatever you are feeling.

There is no wrong way to express loving kindness.

Stay grounded in your breath.

Send someone you love,

Someone you feel safe with,

And send them loving kindness.

May you be safe.

May you be happy.

May you be free from suffering.

May you awaken to the light of your true nature.

May you be filled with ease.

May you be at peace.

May your heart be filled with love.

Breathing gently,

Now picture someone you are acquainted with.

You may not know this person well and may simply feel neutral towards them,

But know that their wellbeing is connected to yours.

May you be safe.

May you be happy.

May you be free from suffering.

May you awaken to the light of your true nature.

May you be filled with ease.

May you be at peace.

May your heart be filled with love.

Now bring to mind someone that you have a challenging or conflicted relationship with.

Your own wellbeing is interconnected with this person.

Breathe in acceptance,

Breathe out loving kindness.

Accept your feelings regardless of what they are.

May you be safe.

May you be happy.

May you be free from suffering.

May you awaken to the light of your true nature.

May you be filled with peace.

May you be at ease.

May your heart be filled with love.

Breathing deeply,

Open your heart now.

And your light and sense of being to all souls.

Your own happiness and wellness is related in some way to all.

May we all be safe.

May we all be happy.

May we all be free from suffering.

May we all awaken to the light of our true nature.

May we all be filled with ease.

May we all be at peace.

May we all find our hearts filled with love.

Now share the same kindness with yourself.

Imagine looking at yourself.

Without judgment.

Embrace whatever arises in you.

I deserve protection.

May I be happy.

I am filled with joy.

May I be free from suffering.

I am well in mind,

Body,

And spirit.

May I awaken to the light of my true nature.

I welcome the light of the universe.
