Hello friend,

It's time for our daily affirmation,

Inspiration,

And mindful journaling prompt.

I'm reading from my book Inner Affirmation Inspirations.

Today we are on inspiration 353.

I am committed to becoming my best self.

Your commitment means constantly improving and growing.

You know that there is always room for growth and that every day is an opportunity to learn something new.

You set goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them,

Knowing that the journey is just as important as the destination.

You stay motivated by reminding yourself of your progress and celebrating even the smallest,

Teeniest,

Tiniest victories.

You take care of yourself by providing self-care and self-love.

You know that a healthy mind and body are key to becoming your best self.

I think it's that last piece,

Healthy mind and body,

Which allows us to become our best selves.

And a healthy mind is one that is willing to do self-reflection and self-discovery and being self-aware.

Being self-aware is a step towards that continuous goal of personal growth.

We're never done,

So to speak.

I had a mentor,

The late Sue Myers,

And I've been seeing her on and off for a number of years and I was going through something and I said to her,

Damn it,

Sue,

Why am I struggling again with something different?

I was pissed.

I was frustrated.

I didn't want to feel like this anymore.

She said to me very wisely,

You're never done.

It's like peeling the layers of an onion.

I actually wrote a whole blog about that.

Because once you peel back one layer,

Then something new to discover.

Being self-aware and committed to self-reflection is your path to continuously growing.

Because if we're not growing,

We're dying.

Let's keep growing.

It's a lot more fun anyway.

Your mindful journaling prompt for today is how do I best focus on my personal growth and development?

Let me know what comes up for you in your journaling in the comments.

I'd love to see it.

Have a beautiful day.
