Welcome to ease and flow meditations.
Today's meditation will guide you through an energy scan,
Allowing you to release stress,
Anxiety,
Feeling renewed and at peace.
This meditation can be done any time of the day.
And before you begin,
Making sure that you are comfortable in your seated position or lying down.
Just taking a moment to adjust so that you are fully comfortable wherever you are.
You can close your eyes down or you can continue with a soft gaze.
And just breathing,
Allow yourself to settle into this moment.
Maybe with your eyes closed,
You can start to settle in on your senses,
The sounds you're listening to,
The clothing on your body,
Your breath and how you're breathing.
Just allowing yourself to settle into this moment,
Inviting everything around you and inside you to become part of your practice.
And before we begin,
Connecting with your inspiration.
This could be gratitude that you have for loved ones.
This could be a higher power,
A spiritual guide,
Noticing how you feel as you connect to your inspiration.
And bring your awareness down towards the bottom of your feet,
The soles of your feet.
Notice if you feel anything on the soles of your feet.
And moving to the tops of your feet and your ankles.
And gently moving up to your lower legs.
And as you move through the body,
You can visualize drawing in energy,
Allowing it to flow throughout your entire body.
Moving up through the knees and letting energy move up through your upper legs,
Into your hips and deep into your hips.
Allowing energy to move to your lower back and your lower belly.
Moving to your middle back,
Belly,
Your upper back,
Expanding your chest,
Allowing your energy to just move through the entire torso,
Purifying,
Filling up and around your organs,
Your heart,
Your lungs.
Moving your energy up through the neck,
Up through the crown of the head.
Allowing you to scan down the forehead and your eyes,
Your inner eyes,
Your nose,
Your mouth,
Relaxing your jaw,
Relaxing your tongue,
Even allowing your teeth to separate.
Feeling your entire body relaxed.
Now visualize your body connecting down into the earth,
And you can visualize this as a grounding cord that connects your body to the earth's energy.
You can visualize this cord with roots growing deeply into the earth,
Effortlessly moving into the earth.
And through this grounding cord,
You can visualize allowing earth's energy to move through the grounding cord and into your body.
Allowing earth's grounding energy to move around all parts of your body,
With your body relaxed and open.
Earth energy can flow from the feet,
From the legs,
Up the torso,
Up through the crown of the head,
And down the arms.
Allowing your entire body with this cleansing and renewing energy.
Energy that supports you.
And now using the skill of visualization,
Imagining the purest form of energy.
This could be an image of a pure waterfall or on a mountaintop.
Energy of spirit.
And you can visualize this energy as a warm,
Bright light right above you.
And you can invite this warm,
Bright light to move in from the crown of the head into your body.
Allowing this bright,
Warm light to flow through the head and into your torso and through your legs.
Allowing it to move effortlessly with earth's energy.
About 20% of this energy,
80% of earth's energy.
And you're allowing,
Inviting,
Letting this energy just move through you.
And notice in this moment how you feel.
Noticing if there are any other pockets of tension that you can release by inviting this energy into that space.
And starting to settle and bring your awareness to your heart.
Breathing into your heart.
Allowing the energy to flow in and around your heart.
Before we close this meditation,
We can send a blessing forward.
Send a blessing forward towards a situation or something that's happening in your future.
This could be later on in the day.
And you can visualize about a foot in front of you.
A situation,
An event,
Or something in your life that gives you a little anxiety and makes you feel a little uneasy or something you just can't get quite right.
Visualizing that right in front of you.
And you're just going to attach a grounding cord to that right in front of you and attaching it down into the earth,
Grounding that.
Notice how your body feels.
And with that image grounding into the earth,
You can visualize filling up that space with warm,
Bright light.
And again,
Bringing attention back to your body and how you feel as you ground that space in front of you and offer the purest form of energy to support it.
Gently settling back into your heart,
Allowing yourself to take just one more breath.
Inhale into the heart,
Exhale,
Expanding and releasing.
Your meditation is now complete.
When you're ready,
You can start with just simple,
Small movements.
Moving your fingertips,
Allowing your body to stretch a little bit,
Move around.
And noticing how your body feels after your practice.
Sending you peace for the rest of your day and into your night.
