Welcome to your Julie Lewin healing meditation to activate your insomnia obliterator program.
With this meditation you'll be able to use the technique to not only go to sleep but to return to sleep if you wake during the night.
Use this meditation anytime you want to go to sleep whether it's night or day.
For this meditation you are going to imagine or feel that you're watching a very unusual movie.
If you can't imagine or visualize feel that you're sitting in the back row of the movies.
It's an old movie theater with the projector light streaming out of a window.
In the top of the back wall there are curtains hanging from floor to ceiling on either side of the white screen.
You choose and create whatever chair you want to sit in to watch your movie.
There is one rule that is very important to the success of this meditation.
If you're serious about having success you must honor this rule.
The rule is that if you have any outside thoughts other than focusing completely on the meditation you must return to the beginning of the exercise and start over with the color red.
For this reason I'm going to give you the guidelines and you need to learn the process that you can do this exercise properly.
Before you begin the exercise if you don't already know the colors of the rainbow you'll need to learn them.
They're red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
Indigo,
Violet.
The easy way to remember this is to memorize ROYGBIV.
That's red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
Indigo,
Violet.
ROYGBIV.
I'll start you off on the exercise.
To begin close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in through the base chakra,
Drawing it all the way up through your abdomen,
Stomach,
Lungs,
All the way up to the top of your shoulders.
Hold it and gently release through your mouth all the way out so that there's no air left in your lungs.
No need to rush just let it out gently.
Let's do that again.
Take a deep breath in through the base chakra,
Draw the way up through your abdomen,
Stomach and lungs,
All the way up to the top of your shoulders.
Hold it and gently release through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension in your body.
That's it.
Let it all go all the way out.
Let's do that again.
Take a deep breath in through the base chakra,
Drawing it all the way up through your abdomen,
Stomach,
Lungs,
All the way up to the top of your shoulders.
Hold it and gently release through your mouth,
Letting go of any residual tension in your body.
That's it.
Let it all go all the way out.
Breathing normally now,
I want you to look at the screen way down in the front of the cinema.
At the moment it's white.
The projector has started above you and you can now see,
Or if you can't visualize,
Feel that the screen has become a vivid vital red.
Incredibly that red screen is materializing into a red light that's rushing up the aisle towards you.
Take a deep breath in and draw that red light all the way down to the bottom of your lungs.
Feel the red light infiltrate every cell in your body.
Be present with the red light.
Gently release your breath out through your mouth and see or feel the color red retreat back to the screen at the front of the cinema.
Now you repeat this process and the screen will become vibrant orange and then the next screen will be brilliant yellow and emerald green and rich royal blue and vivid velvety indigo and beautiful soft violet.
Now the secret to this meditation is that if you have an outside thought at any stage through the process,
You must return to the red screen and start at the beginning again.
If you are truly honest with yourself and return to red every time you have an outside thought,
You will be asleep before you reach violet.
If you make it all the way through the seven colors without an outside thought and you have not gone to sleep,
Start at the beginning again.
