Let your hands rest softly in your lap or by your sides.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a deep breath in and let it out with a sigh.

Inhale,
Feeling your belly rise,
And exhale,
Letting your body soften.
With each breath,
Invite yourself to land more fully in this moment.
You are here,
You are safe,
And you are not alone.
Now bring your attention to your heart space,
Perhaps placing one hand gently over your chest and offering a sense of warmth and presence.
Let's acknowledge something important.
There may have been moments,
Days,
Or even seasons when you turned away from yourself,
When you silenced your needs,
Ignored your truth,
Or pushed down your feelings to survive or be accepted.
This practice is not here to judge those moments.
It's here to meet them with love,
Because the parts of you that were abandoned,
They don't need shame.
They need presence.
They need compassion.
They need you.
So take a slow breath in and gently exhale.
And in your mind's eye,
Imagine a younger version of yourself,
The part of you who first learned to hide,
To please,
To disappear.
See them clearly.
What do they look like?
How do they feel?
What might be happening around them?
And what might they need to hear from you right now?
With your hand on your heart,
Speak to them,
Silently or aloud,
And say,
I'm so sorry I wasn't able to help you before.
I didn't know how to.
But I am here now.
I'm listening closely.
And I'm never leaving again.
Let yourself feel the power of that truth settle into your being.
Breathe into that reunion and exhale any residue of shame or guilt.
It doesn't belong here anymore.
Now imagine that younger version of you stepping closer,
Merging gently with the present day you,
Becoming full,
Feeling yourself filling with that loving presence,
With care,
With unconditional love for every part of you and every piece of who you are.
Repeat these affirmations softly to yourself or just allow them to wash over you.
I choose myself fully and completely.
