Snippets of Wisdom,
Number 89.
Pivot your attention.
How do you get what you want?
What is the process by which you pivot your attention more toward what you really want?
Sometimes I need a reminder about how to shift my attention.
I see so much that I don't want and I get all twirled up in the problem and I forget to ask myself what I truly desire.
I forget that my focus needs to be on what I want.
I forget that feeling good needs to be my number one priority.
I forget that momentum builds in the direction of my dominant attention and I attract more of the same.
Yep,
I need reminding.
So I went looking for a word of encouragement.
The following is the quote from Abraham Hicks that satisfied my need for a reminder.
As you look for a better feeling way to approach whatever you are giving your attention to,
As you continue to ask yourself from your ever-changing vantage point,
What is it that I do want?
Eventually,
You will be standing in a very pleasant place.
For you cannot continually ask yourself what it is that you do want without your point of attraction beginning to pivot in that direction.
The process will be gradual,
But your continued application of the process will yield wonderful results in only a few days.
So you're in a situation you may not like and can't help but notice,
Right?
What do you do next?
Remember,
Our situations are from an ever-changing point of view,
So we're all seeing all kinds of things,
Wanted and unwanted.
Next,
Ask yourself,
What is it that I do want?
Ask yourself this question frequently.
The more you focus on what you want,
The more your point of attraction will match that of your inner being.
You'll know you're there when you feel really good thinking about the things you want.
When you align your point of attraction with that of your inner being,
You're going to feel good.
The more often you ask yourself what you want,
Your focus begins to pivot and actually look for those desires showing up.
When you keep your eyes looking toward what you want,
You can't help but give more airtime to your desires and attract them.
This is the pivot point.
You're now heading in the direction of what you want and are in a state of expectancy.
Positive expectation is one of the most powerful attractors to get the results you're looking for because positive expectation aligns your vibrational output to that of your inner being who knows it's already and it's waiting for you.
Have fun with your positive pivot toward what you want.
Remember to ask yourself,
What is it that I do want?
Every day,
All day,
And watch what happens in the next few days.
Big hugs,
Marianne.
