Hello,
My name is Marlou Harris and this is a meditation to relieve anxious thoughts.
First,
Make sure you are in a comfortable position and will not be disturbed.
Bring your focus to your breath and pay attention to how your lungs expand and contract when you inhale and exhale.
Let your breath flow however it wants to right now.
Notice your jaw and if you feel any tension there,
Just notice it.
Don't try to change anything.
Now breathe into the sensations in your jaw and as you exhale,
Allow it to release a little.
Inhale again.
Imagine that you are breathing in new life and when you exhale,
Let all fear completely fade.
Take another breath in and when you exhale,
Feel yourself let go of any worries.
And notice how relaxed you are becoming right now.
How loose your muscles are.
Let another breath come in naturally,
Imagining a bright future.
And as you let the breath go,
Notice how anxiety eases and fades.
A gentle wave of relaxation sweeps over you as you breathe in and out.
Allow your breath to flow naturally now.
Just allow yourself to notice how much more calm and peaceful you are.
You deserve this wonderful feeling of serenity.
You are open now to receive new thoughts and you open up even more with each breath you take.
You are opening up to new and fresh energy.
Notice how new ideas begin to present themselves to you.
As if you are filled up full of abundance.
As if you have so much that your cup pours over for others to enjoy the abundance you have created.
Imagine that you are energized and have a zeal and a passion for life.
Even if this is not true of your present self,
Imagine it vividly and with as much detail as you can.
Picture yourself,
See yourself full of energy and optimism.
Feel what that feels like to be looking forward with passion to your life,
To the day.
Imagine it as if you were watching a movie of yourself.
That can help.
Picture the colors,
Bright colors.
Watch yourself full of ambition,
Taking steps towards achievement,
Being recognized by others.
Stay with your breath and allow your intentions to remain positive.
Even if you don't feel positive in the moment,
Just imagine what feeling positive is like.
Go back to a time when you did feel that and get in touch with the feeling.
Imagine what feeling joyful is like.
And now,
Breathe into this joy that you are creating.
Notice how you are consciously shifting any anxious thoughts right now into peaceful feelings instead just by following your breath.
Breathe the joy in deeply.
And as you exhale,
Notice all tension and anxiety flowing out,
Leaving you completely relaxed.

Breathing in peace,
Breathing out any concerns,
And just end this meditation with a deep breath in,
Feeling grateful that you have taken this time to practice meditation,
To practice shifting your thoughts to positivity and joy and the ability to look forward to something and kindle and rekindle that passion within yourself.
