In this meditation I do some basic guidance to get into mindfulness of breathing and body and gradually ask the meditator to consider their use of attention as a claim on their authority to create well-being in their world. This is an improvised meditation- some I write in advance and others I record "live" to capture my own present experience and practice in a different way. I hope you like it!

Bok г закрыт fried lowered honey Make yourself comfortable.

Begin aligning your posture.

Start with the contact points,

The seat or cushion or floor or combination of these things.

Feel that contact and foundation.

Try to make that feel balanced.

Then gradually move upward from that spot,

Those places,

And feel yourself in an upright,

Balanced posture.

And begin to attend to the rising and falling of the breath.

Doing your best to be aware of the entirety of each rising breath and each falling breath.

But not heavy and grasping,

Somewhat light but persistent.

Returning to the breath whenever we recognize that the mind has wandered.

Breath being a stable and consistent action.

Offering some variety but also steadiness.

Take interest in these aspects of the breath.

Notice more and more details,

Temperature,

Texture,

The length and depth.

All the sensations of the body that you can identify as movements coming from the breath.

All the sensations of the body that you can identify as movements coming from the breath.

And now maintaining your focus on the breath,

Or rather,

Maintaining some awareness that the breathing is continuing while also becoming aware of the body as a whole,

The greater felt sense of the body,

The sense of the body in space,

The sense of the body within.

Seeing if you can notice how there are aspects of the energy of the sensations of breathing and the general sensations of the body.

Noticing how there's what might be described as an energetic signature.

An aspect of those places where we put our awareness that speak of the existence of the things themselves.

Some energetic signature which says that that thing is here,

A signal for our awareness.

And just letting the perception of the great sense of the whole being here be relaxed,

Be broad,

Spacious,

Can sense change.

And again,

Like with the breath,

Sense temperature,

Movement,

Vibration,

Depth.

Aspects that seem to signify well-being.

There is always an array of sensations to choose from.

The fact of our ability to breathe and know we're breathing points to a fair level of well-being in and of itself.

And we can expand from there.

Search the body and the being for well-being.

Full quiet pleasure.

And wherever we find well-being,

We can share well-being from there.

If our hands feel good and relaxed,

Imbued with some power,

Let that feeling move up the arms.

Let it radiate into the abdomen.

Any place in the body,

The thigh,

The middle of the forehead,

Any place there is a seat of well-being,

Let that seat be a place of radiance,

The sharing of power,

Abundant well-being flowing forth.

Give authority to your ability to wield well-being within yourself.

And you will possess that authority everywhere.
