A meditative Qigong (Jing Gong) practice with the body still, while energy (qi) is guided to five yin organs (lungs, kidneys, liver, heart, and spleen), balancing their function. We breathe in healthy qi into each organ as colored light and breathe out spent qi that tarnishes the organ’s glow as gray smoke. Appropriate for any season, the practice is excellent to strengthen the body's defenses. I learned it from Mimi Kuo-Deemer, and I credit her for the imagery of colored gemstones.
