Hi and welcome to this guided meditation for creating a vivid vision for your life.

Take a moment to settle into your body feeling the support underneath you and the gentle rise and fall of your breath.

Take a moment to settle in and close your eyes as we take a few minutes to explore before we begin the meditation.

My guess is you're drawn to this meditation because you want something more from your life or maybe you're at the cusp of a major life event or something recently happened that's making you want to focus on what the future holds.

The truth is that many of us feel out of control when it comes to designing our life and the way we begin to take our power back is by getting clear on what we want,

What we really want our life to look like.

Most of us have never taken on a practice like this.

We go from spending our childhood in school,

Followed by high school,

Then college,

Followed by starting careers long before any of us have had a chance to truly understand ourselves.

Many people today find themselves living a life on someone else's terms but know that you can write a new empowered story today starting right now.

Let's take a few clearing breaths and as you inhale take on an upright posture,

A posture of ease and dignity,

With shoulders relaxed,

Heart open.

Approaching this meditation with curiosity and self-compassion.

As you begin to relax,

Bring your awareness to the present moment.

Let go of any thoughts about the past or worries about the future.

This is your time to focus solely on yourself and to create a vision for your future.

Now from a more centered place,

Using your mind's eye,

Begin to envision your ideal life.

This might begin as a sketch slowly unfolding over a canvas and we'll be expanding it fully into a vivid picture over the course of this meditation.

Allow yourself to let go of the thoughts that something is too good to be true.

Take on the full expanded version of your best most desirable life.

Let's begin to explore.

How does your future life look?

What are you seeing in front of you?

Let's start with what surroundings you're in.

Look around and notice where you are.

What does your ideal home look like?

Is it out in nature,

In a city,

Next to a beach?

Take a moment to walk through the doors of your ideal home and explore it.

If there's a mirror hanging up in the hallway,

Look through it at your future self and continue walking.

What colors,

What textures and smells are in your home?

Who else is there?

Who is surrounding you?

Is your partner or family there?

Are there children or pets?

Where do you live?

Notice the pictures on the walls.

Who's in them?

What are they doing?

Looking down at yourself,

What are you wearing?

How do you carry yourself?

Taking in everything that's around you.

Expanding this vision beyond your home,

Let's consider your work.

What do you do?

What is that thing you've been dreaming of doing that you now are?

What does your daily schedule look like?

If you were to look at your calendar,

What's on it?

What are you filling your time with?

When it comes to your job,

Who do you want to work with?

Who do you want to work with?

In this moment,

Envision yourself as free to be,

Free to take aligned action.

What are you seeing unfold in your vision?

How is it evolving to show you your highest,

Most impactful timeline and revealing your best self?

Are you speaking on stages,

Traveling?

Are you able to just relax and let go with more ease and spend more time at home with family?

Taking it all in.

What values are most important to you in life?

Consider that if you have the capacity to envision something,

That means you also have the capacity to achieve it.

Without an idea and a desire for something,

We wouldn't have the context for what it gets to look and feel like.

So let yourself dream vividly.

Remember that no two people have the exact same dream,

Which means you get to have your very own unique vision for an ideal life.

All it takes is a decision to change that sets the change into motion.

Change happens in an instant.

Think about it.

Once you make a decision and take action,

The change has already occurred.

Why this usually feels so difficult is because it takes us years to reach that moment of change.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

We can change today,

Right now.

You can begin to make new choices that are more in alignment with who you want to be.

Now,

Gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

With each inhale,

Draw in a sense of clarity and purpose.

With each exhale,

Release any doubts or fears that may have been holding you back.

Know that you have the power to turn your dreams into reality.

You have everything you need within you to create the life you desire.

Trust in yourself and in the journey that lies ahead.

Now,

Reflect on everything you saw and experienced.

As you breathe deeply,

Notice what feelings came up in the body as you envisioned your dream life.

Notice what felt the most noteworthy.

What did you just learn about yourself?

I'll invite you to especially remember back to your most important values.

What words come to mind to represent who you want to be?

Repeat them to yourself now.

Perhaps it's courageous,

Outgoing,

Alive,

Fun,

Grounded,

Loving,

Generous.

What ways of being represent who you are and what's important to you?

Once we return from this meditation,

You'll want to jot these down in a journal or maybe even have them live somewhere in your home so they can continuously center you in your vision.

Take a few deep breaths as you center yourself back in your body,

Back in the present moment,

Taking a mental snapshot of everything that you saw,

That you experienced,

That you envisioned.

Noticing what stood out to you and what you want to remember.

May you continue to journey towards a life filled with purpose,

Passion,

And fulfillment.

Take a few more deep breaths.

Know that you can stay in your vision as long as you'd like.

When you're ready,

You're welcome to open your eyes and return to the world of the sunsets.
