Welcome to the mantra meditation to help cultivate more trust in ourselves and our choices.
Have you ever wanted to tap into your intuition more?
Have you ever felt envious of someone who knows how to follow their innate guidance?
Tapping into,
Listening to,
And learning to honor our intuition begins with trusting ourselves fully.
We all have an inner compass that guides us,
That helps us to discern what's best for us in any situation.
Learning to live connected with this voice creates days with less force and more flow.
Life starts to happen for you and not to you.
So let's begin cultivating more self-trust with today's mantra meditation.
First let's get into a comfortable position and posture of your choice.
And right away listen deeply to make the choice of posture that would feel best for you in this moment.
Your body knows how it would like to be during this time.
Start to deepen the breath,
Allowing it to guide you back into the present moment,
Out of the past and future thoughts.
With every deep breath in,
Becoming more present with this moment now,
Dropping out of the head and into the body.
With any mantra practice,
You first want to try the mantras on and see how they feel for us.
Repeating mantras that don't feel resonant is of very little use.
You want to tap into the wisdom of the body to allow it to help us find the mantras that feel good,
True and resonant.
A resonant mantra should feel like a full body yes.
Before we get there though,
Let's first build awareness of what the body feels like right now.
Take a few more deep rounds of breath.
Ask yourself,
How does my body and mind feel right now?
Is there anywhere I'm holding tension or stress?
Building awareness of the body is critical to tapping into our intuition.
It's what allows us to know when something is a yes or a no for us.
Now repeat this mantra to yourself and see how it feels.
I trust myself.
I trust myself.
I trust myself.
Do these words flow easily or is there any blockage you can identify in the body?
This would feel like a tension or a constriction somewhere in the body.
It's a feeling of holding and being unwilling to let go.
I trust myself.
Allow this mantra to be a compass,
Showing you what is perhaps left to heal.
If this mantra feels particularly challenging for the remainder of this meditation,
Try the mantra,
I am open to trusting myself.
See how that feels.
If there's less resistance to this statement,
I am open to trusting myself.
We'll begin the mantra practice now.
In your mind,
Repeat to yourself,
I trust myself.
The process of trial and error allows me to learn.
I trust my choices and my ability to choose.
I trust myself.
The process of trial and error allows me to learn.
I trust my choices and my ability to choose.
Remember there's always the possibility to modify these in any way to make them feel more resonant.
I trust myself.
The process of trial and error allows me to learn.
I trust my choices and my ability to choose.
Go ahead and bring your palm to your chest.
In your mind's eye,
Repeat,
I trust my heart.
No one other than me knows best what's best for me.
The feeling of trust is moving into every single cell in my body.
I trust my heart.
Knows best what's best for me.
The feeling of trust is moving into every single cell in my body.
I trust my heart.
Knows best what's best for me.
The feeling of trust is moving into every single cell in my body.
Inhaling trust with every breath in.
Exhaling any blockages or resistance with every exhale.
Allow the feeling of trust to wash over you from the tip of your head down to your toes.
I trust myself.
I trust my heart.
I trust my voice.
I trust my ability to choose.
I use my learning for good.
I trust myself.
I trust my heart.
I trust my voice.
I trust my ability to choose.
Deep breaths in.
Long exhales out,
Letting go of anything that no longer serves with every single round of deep breath.
I trust the path that life is taking me on.
I am open to trusting the path that life is taking me on.
I am in control of my decisions.
No one can make me feel bad without my consent.
I trust myself to choose wisely.
I trust myself to use my past experience for good.
I honor my body.
I trust the wisdom of my body.
Breathing in,
I know my body is there to support me.
Breathing out,
I listen deeply to what my body has to say.
I honor my body.
I trust the wisdom of my body.
Breathing in,
I know my body is there to support me.
Breathing out,
I listen deeply to what my body has to say.
When times get challenging,
I choose to go inward.
I know all the answers are already within.
All I need to do is to be and to listen.
Notice what sensations or emotions are coming to surface as you repeat these statements to yourself.
Which stand out?
And why?
And ask yourself,
What decision have I been struggling with?
What is a reoccurring thought I've been having?
Remember that all the answers we seek are already inside of us,
Waiting to be discovered through gentle inquiry and through deep listening.
It is through clearing the blockages that lie inside of us that we help these answers come to surface.
Allow yourself to fully feel and expand into the final set of mantras.
Breathe deeply,
Always keeping the connection to the breath,
And continue to tap into the sensations of the breathing body with every new statement.
I trust that I know what is right for me.
I trust and accept myself.
I trust and accept who I am.
I am trustworthy.
I trust my capacity to deal with life and its lessons.
I trust in miracles.
I trust in divine guidance and help.
I trust in a positive outcome.
I trust.
I trust that I know what is right for me.
I trust and accept myself.
I trust and accept who I am.
I am trustworthy.
I trust in my capacity to deal with life and its lessons.
I trust in miracles.
I trust in divine guidance and help.
I trust in a positive outcome.
I trust.
Really feeling into each and every statement now,
Breathing deeply into the heart space,
Accepting all emotions that come up without making yourself wrong.
I trust that I know what is right for me.
I trust and accept myself.
I trust and accept who I am.
I am trustworthy.
I trust in my capacity to deal with life and its lessons.
I trust in miracles.
I trust in divine guidance and help.
I trust in a positive outcome.
I trust.
I trust myself.
The process of trial and error allows me to learn.
I trust my choices and my ability to choose.
Take three deep rounds of breath,
Noticing the quality of the breath,
The heartbeat,
And the mind.
Notice which mantra stood out,
Which felt like a yes,
And if there's any that you'd like to work on this week.
Which statement do you want to lean into this week?
Notice if you'd like to stay with this practice,
Either rewinding this meditation,
Simply repeating these mantra affirmations to yourself for a bit longer.
When you're ready to end this practice,
Remember to thank yourself for giving yourself the gift of this time.
