Thank you for joining me today in this meta meditation,
A gentle return to kindness for self,
For others,
For all that is around you.
Find a position that is comfortable to you,
Comfortable yet alert and engaged and take a slow breath in and a gentle breath out.
Allow your shoulders to soften,
The tension underneath your ribcage to loosen and now bring your attention inward to yourself just as you are today,
Not this version of you that has it all together but the real you,
The one who is trying and constantly showing up and quietly repeat in your mind,
May I be steady,
May I be kind to myself,
May I feel supported,
May I trust where I'm going and allow those words to land however they land without judgment,
Just feel them.
Now gently bring someone to mind who is easy to care about and offer them the same words,
May you be steady,
May you be safe,
May you feel supported,
May you trust your path and now expand this awareness a little wider to the people in your life,
Your circle,
Your neighbors,
Your coworkers,
Even the ones who might be hard to understand and gently offer,
May we be steady,
May we be kind,
May we move through this life with a little more ease and now even wider to everyone everywhere,
All the unseen lives moving alongside yours,
May all things be safe,
May all things feel supported,
May all things find moments of peace,
Now gently return back to yourself,
Open your eyes and take in the surroundings and notice the small steady shift brought by this act of kindness and carry a little bit of that with you as you move into the rest of the day,
