This gentle morning flow is perfect to start your day so that you can energize yourself,
Set your mind into mastering what it is you want to focus on for the day,
And at the same time creating healthy new habits.
So come into a standing position,
Into your mountain pose.
Allow your feet to anchor down into the ground,
Tuck the tailbone under,
Shoulders are rolled up,
Back,
And straight,
Relaxing them down,
Spine is in alignment and completely straight.
Close your eyes and feel the connection between your body and the earth beneath you.
Feel the connection between your body and your breath.
And then inhale the hands together in prayer pose in front of the heart.
Press your thumbs into your heart center.
Set an intention.
What is it that you want to be mindful about for this day?
Maybe it's a word,
Maybe it's an intention,
Maybe it's a few words stringed together.
Whatever that mindful,
Magical set you wish to infuse into your being so that you can stay in connection with creating healthy energy,
Positive focus,
A wish,
A want,
A prayer,
A miracle,
Whatever it is,
Go quietly within and set your mind to this intention.
Inhale,
Bring the hands down,
Around,
And up,
Raising the hands high up to the heavens.
Slight back bend.
Exhale,
Fold forward.
Inhale to a flat back.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Inhale,
Lift the arms again.
Raising them,
Palms facing up,
High up to the heavens.
Bring the hands into prayer pose and bring that prayer down into the heart.
Pausing there a moment.
Make this a moving meditation.
As you inhale,
Bring the hands down,
Around,
Lifting the palms high up to the heavens.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Inhale to a flat back.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Inhale the hands down,
Around,
And up again.
Palms facing up.
Hands touch at the top and bring the hands in prayer pose down the center in front of the heart.
Pausing there a moment.
Inhale the hands down,
Around,
And palms facing up again,
High up to the heavens.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Fingertips touch the ground.
Inhale to a flat back.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Step the left foot back,
Coming into a lunge and gently bringing the left knee down to the ground.
Inhale the left palm into the earth beneath you,
Rotating over to the right.
Lifting the right arm high up to the heavens.
Long,
Deep breathing.
Bring the right hand down on the outside of the right foot.
Inhale,
Lift the arms high up to the heavens into your crescent lunge.
Long,
Deep breathing,
Honoring your body.
Stretching the arms in the position that your body intuition is desiring.
And relaxing into the long,
Deep breath.
Bring both hands down on either side of the right foot,
And extending the right leg out straight in front of you,
Coming into a hamstring stretch.
Allow the chin to tuck into the chest.
Bowing forward,
Extend the right heel in front of you,
If that feels comfortable for your body intuition.
And just fold forward.
Long,
Deep breathing.
Inhale,
Bend the right knee.
Come back up into this lunge.
Hands can be either up on your fingertips,
Or you can have your hands up on your knees.
Whatever feels comfortable for you.
Allowing this deep stretch.
And then inhale the arms high up to the heavens.
And then exhale.
Hands on either side of the right foot.
Step the left foot to meet the right.
Bow forward.
Inhale to a flat back.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Inhale the hands down,
Around,
And up.
Palms facing up.
Palms touch high above you.
And bring the hands together in prayer pose,
Down in front of the heart.
Pausing there a moment.
Inhale the hands down,
Around,
And up.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Fingertips touch the ground.
Inhale to a flat back.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Stepping the right foot back,
Coming into this lunge.
And then gently bring the right knee down.
Planting the right hand into the earth beneath you,
And rotating over towards the left,
Extending the left arm up.
Long,
Deep breathing.
Exhale the left hand down on the outside of the left foot.
And inhale,
Lifting the hands high up to the heavens.
Honoring your body intuition.
Honoring the position of your arms.
Maybe the palms are together.
Maybe the arms want to come into a cactus pose.
Honoring what your body intuition is calling for in this moment.
Long,
Deep breathing.
Focusing on the breath.
Just stay in the moment.
And then exhaling,
Both hands down on either side of the left foot.
Extend the left leg out in front of you.
Toes point up to the heavens.
Coming into this hamstring stretch.
Inhale,
Tucking the chin into the chest,
Folding forward.
In addition to focusing on the breath,
Stay connected to that intention you set.
The word intention.
Whatever it is,
If the mind gets busy,
Go back to that intention.
Bending the left knee,
And gently moving your body up into this high lunge.
Inhaling the arms high above you.
Enjoying this stretch.
And then exhaling,
Both hands down on either side of the left foot.
Step the right foot to meet the left.
Bow forward.
And then inhale,
Lifting the arms high up to the heavens.
Palms facing up.
Hands touch in prayer pose.
And exhale,
Bringing the hands down in front of the heart in prayer pose.
Pausing there a moment.
Inhale.
We'll do this one more time,
Moving at your pace.
Inhale the hands down,
Around,
And up.
Lifting the hands high up to the heavens.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Inhale to a flat back.
Exhale,
Bow forward.
Step the left foot back.
Left hand down to the ground,
Twisting over towards the right.
Long,

Bringing the right hand on the outside of the right foot.
