Letting go of fixing,
Letting go of fixing and falling into that fix it mode when the natural habit is to correct anything that causes discontentment.
Taking the time for reflection and goal setting can be so useful,
But when the obsession creates imbalance,
You deserve to experience peace,
Light,
Love,
And joy.
This simple technique will help you to let go of the fix it thinking.
You can use this as a meditation or you can use this as an exercise to journal.
Maybe try one day using the technique as a meditation and another day as a journal exercise.
Picking the way you choose right now to practice this letting go of fixing everything,
Anything,
Or anyone.
Start with a upright spine,
Sitting straight,
Straight as possible,
Bringing the attention to the mind and the body.
Take a few deep inhales and exhales so that you can bring the connection between the body,
The mind,
And the spirit.
On the next inhale,
Tune into your thoughts.
What problem are you working on that you wish to solve,
That you want to fix?
Be specific.
Go into your mind and allow yourself to create the details of exactly what it is you're trying to figure out or fix.
Noticing what the issue is,
Not your thoughts,
But what the challenge is,
The issues.
Try to clearly see what the problem is rather than focusing on the solution.
With the focus of the problem in the mind,
Notice any discomfort you feel.
Is there fear of the unknown?
Insecurity maybe?
Or is there a strong desire to plan something?
Whatever your experience is,
Look at the issue with gentle,
Kind awareness.
Do not judge yourself and do not jump into trying to fix it.
Just be with the discomfort for a few moments.
As you rest into the awareness of the problem to be solved,
Start to tune into the mind and the body.
Do you feel some tension in the body?
Notice where it is.
Recognize when the mind automatically jumps to the area to fix it,
The discomfort.
Take a deep inhale.
Exhale out of the mouth.
With the intention of welcoming in patience and using this affirmation or your own,
Everything is unfolding for my highest good.
Or maybe you have your own affirmation and if you wish to use the one I'm suggesting,
Everything is unfolding for my highest good.
Keep repeating whichever affirmation you pick for the next couple moments.
Take a deep inhale and as you exhale,
Gently sigh,
Releasing,
Letting go.
And for the next couple moments,
Trust and believe that a basic solution will arise and trusting the process and just be right here,
Right now.
Gently inhale and gently exhale.
Open your eyes,
Trust and believe you've released the need to fix.
Have faith that everything will come in perfect timing and your solution is just to be.
