Thank you for sharing some of your time with me today.
I'm so excited that I can share this meditation with you.
I'm Maria and first I want to explain where this meditation comes from.
It's called Chakra Dhyana.
It's been practiced in India for thousands of years.
They want to share it with the world.
The whole point of the meditation is to wake up the energy centers that reside in all human beings.
This meditation focuses on the first seven chakras that are in our physical bodies.
Through this meditation we use the vibration of our own voice to activate the center of each of these energy centers.
First I'm going to explain a little bit about what we're going to do during this meditation.
Feel free to listen to this track whenever you have time or need a refresher.
But then go ahead and switch to the second track where the real meditation happens.
This meditation is meant to enhance your connection with your own power,
Your own truth.
During the meditation I may refer to the divine.
You take that for whatever it means to you.
Let's start by talking about where the chakra energy centers are.
The root chakra is at the base of your spine.
The color we associate with the root chakra is red.
And the sound that we're going to chant on the root chakra is long with an L.
The first five chakras have the same sound,
A similar sound.
When we chant on the first five chakras the sound ends with an NG.
So when we chant the root chakra we chant LUNG.
The second chakra is located right between your hips.
It is where your reproductive organs are.
But this is where your passion and creativity reside.
The color associated with the second chakra is a bright orange color,
Powerful.
The sound that we're going to chant on the second chakra is a VANG with a V.
The third chakra is right behind your belly button.
It's called the solar plexus chakra.
The color associated with it is a bright powerful yellow color.
The sound we're going to chant is RONG with an R.
The fourth chakra is at your heart right in the center of your chest.
The color of this chakra is a green color.
And the sound that we chant on it is YANG with a Y.
The fifth chakra is at your throat.
The color associated with this chakra is a beautiful light blue color.
And the sound that we chant to activate this chakra is HANG with an H.
Then we move up to the sixth chakra,
Which is actually called the third eye chakra.
It's right between your eyebrows at your forehead.
The color is a dark blue indigo color.
It's powerful.
The sound we chant here is AONG.
The crown chakra is the seventh chakra at the top of your head.
The color is a light lavender.
It's beautiful.
The sound we chant on the crown chakra is OGUM SATYAM OM.
Everything I've described about the location,
The color,
And the sound of these first seven chakras I will guide you through during the meditation.
Do not worry.
You don't have to memorize anything.
Just relax.
I have included a lengthier meditation for you on track three.
When you feel ready,
I welcome you to join me there.
But you may want to practice track two a couple of times first to get used to chakra dhyana.
Also,
A couple of practical pointers for you.
There is no rule regarding what time of day or how often this meditation should be practiced.
Enjoy it whenever you can on your terms.
The energy we harness is best activated when you are seated in an upright position.
But if you prefer to lay down,
I suggest you do not chant,
But instead absorb the sound of my voice.
Chanting in a laying down position is not recommended as it will interfere with the flow of energy and your lung capacity will not be at its best.
Please close your eyes and focus on your breath when we are doing the meditation.
Trust me to guide you through this meditation,
But more importantly,
Trust yourself.
Chant as loud,
As strong,
As long as you need to.
There is no pressure.
If you are listening to this recording,
You are ready.
You are ready to take this next step in your own spiritual journey.
And I am so thrilled that I can share this meditation with you.
I am looking so forward to sharing the energy.
Enjoy.
