Explore MeditationMariah first came to her mindfulness practice in 2015. Already stressed and burnt out in her early 20s, she found herself on a yoga mat seeking out answers. Mariah quickly fell in love with practice and jumped into her yoga teacher training in 2019. Currently, Mariah is an E-RYT 200 and YACEP based in the Atlanta area. She teaches yoga asana, meditation, and mindfulness at an Addiction Recovery Facility. She also offers preschool yoga, vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, aerial yoga, and sound immersions. As a survivor of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), Mariah firmly believes in the power of the mind/body connection to soothe the nervous system & increase quality of life. As a lifelong performing artist, she enjoys sprinkling her practice with creative expression & adaptability. In her spare time, Mariah enjoys dancing on her aerial hoop, hiking with her dogs, and singing karaoke.
