Transcript

Welcome.

My name is Janie Clark with Mama Meadow and I am so happy that you are here.

Today we're going on a journey to a past version of ourselves.

We spend time with that part of us that lives within us.

I ask you to please get yourself in a comfortable position,

Either laying down or sitting up in a chair.

Begin taking deep breaths in.

Letting them out completely.

Another inhale.

Exhale.

Another inhale.

Breathing all the way into your belly.

Breathing all of it out.

Let's do one more together.

Deep inhale.

Let it out.

I want you to imagine that a train or a bus or a ship playing a helicopter has arrived in front of you.

A version of you today.

You're asking to get on board.

You climb onto whatever this transportation vehicle is.

You sit down.

You're looking out the window.

As it begins to move.

You're being taken back in time.

There's a past version of you.

That you yourself today look back on and cringe or feel uncomfortable or ashamed.

Overwhelmed or sad about.

Your mind right now is coming up with the most perfect aligned age for you to go back in time to.

You watch as the windows and the scenery changes.

It brings you back to that moment in time.

Might be the specific event.

Just the time period where you were making certain decisions.

You just keep watching that scenery shift and change.

And then this transportation vehicle comes to a stop.

You stand up and you get off.

As you open up that door.

You step into the past.

The version of you that you were visiting is standing right there as you open the doors.

You reflect back on that moment in time.

And the emotions that come up.

And the thoughts that arise.

Maybe it's self criticism.

Negative ways of thinking or sadness.

Regret.

There's a message that this version has for you.

But there's also clarity,

You are seeking.

We begin this conversation.

We begin to realize that every moment we make decisions.

We do things because we in that moment believe they are the right thing to do.

Because we don't have any other clarity or tools,

Habits,

Or living out of patterns sometimes.

And in this moment,

You feel a sense of compassion towards this younger self.

And knowing that that version of you was doing what they thought was the right thing to do.

And oftentimes that's because of survival mode.

Because of some unconscious pattern or habit that maybe you today have recognized.

So that's why when you look back on this past version,

These experiences,

You feel ashamed or regretful or sad.

And in this moment,

Compassion begins to fill up your heart.

You can look at this younger version of you.

So much love and understanding.

And all you need and want in this moment is to forget.

To just let go of the past.

Have this new found belief system that no matter what we are making decisions.

We do believe is the answer in that moment.

To ensure we can always be making better decisions and that is our role here on planet Earth.

To evolve,

To grow.

So you can find forgiveness.

To express love through a compassionate heart.

This younger version of you.

This younger version of you also is looking up at you now.

Admiring you and your growth.

How proud they are of you.

And you share this beautiful moment of being seen.

And felt and understood and acknowledged.

You go in for a hug.

You embrace feeling connected.

You can relax,

Release,

Truly forgive and let go of the past.

Any mistakes,

Resentments,

Regrets or ashamed feelings.

All of that is being stripped away,

Washed away,

Removed.

You can feel it letting go of your body.

You take a deep inhale.

You just let it go,

Releasing,

Letting go.

And you smile and think this younger version.

He smiles or he smiles back at you.

You stand up.

You get back on that transportation vehicle.

Feeling sense of compassion and peace.

One conditional love,

Sincere and radical forgiveness.

There's a lightness within you now.

You sit down in your seat.

You feel into that empty and open cleaned up space within you.

You feel it all back up.

How proud you are of yourself for how far you've come.

There's always work to be done,

Always more healing,

More lessons.

Right now in this moment you can find a sense of empowerment and clarity and connection to yourself in all time and space.

You're transported back to the version you are today.

And as you take three deep inhales,

Begin to feel the awareness of your body in this moment.

On every exhale you just relax and embody this new wisdom,

These lessons,

Any messages you may have heard from this experience.

You come back to your full awareness.

Open your eyes when you're ready.
