Having trouble falling asleep? Or just struggling to relax during a stressful sitation? This meditation is for you! A body scan is one of my favorite ways to bring conscious awareness to each part of my body. This helps to become mindful of any tension or discomfort in order to intentionally help yourself and your body/mind to relax.

Welcome to relaxation body scan meditation.

This is perfect if you have trouble falling asleep.

In the middle of the day if you find yourself stressed out.

Just have some free time and you would like to relax.

Whatever the case may be please find a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed.

You may sit down or lay down.

You may fall asleep if that's okay.

Let's take a couple of deep breaths to get settled.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Relax your eyes.

Relax your cheeks.

Relax your mouth.

Relax your jaw.

Relax your neck.

Relax your left shoulder.

Relax your left arm.

Relax your left elbow.

Relax your left hand.

Relax your left fingers.

Relax your right shoulder.

Relax your right arm.

Relax your right elbow.

Relax your right hand.

Relax your right fingers.

Relax your upper back.

Relax your chest.

Relax your mid back.

Relax your heart.

Relax your lungs.

Relax your lower back.

Relax your stomach.

Relax your pelvic bone.

Relax your entire spine.

Relax your left leg.

Relax your left knee.

Relax your left foot.

Relax your left toes.

Relax your right leg.

Relax your right knee.

Relax your right foot.

Relax your right toes.

Feel your body fill up with light and love.

There is light as a feather now.

What a care and concern in the world is present.

You have a deep trust that everything is okay.

You are safe.

You are loved.

You are at peace.

Breathing deeper and deeper.

You are completely relaxed.
