My name is Janie Clark with Mama Metta and I'm so happy that you are here.
This meditation is called Metta or Loving Kindness.
This is a shorter version and we will be focusing primarily on our self-love.
I will be repeating mantras that you can either repeat out loud or to yourself.
Before we begin,
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either laying down or sitting in a comfortable chair.
Begin taking three deep inhales filling up your belly and exhale every piece of breath.
Repeat that and let it go.
Breathe in again and let it go completely.
If you feel comfortable,
Place a hand over your heart or both hands and repeat after me.
May I be safe from all forms of danger and harm.
May I have peace and well-being.
May I have mental and physical happiness.
May I be safe from all forms of danger and harm.

Using this next few moments to say words of affirmation,
Words such as,
I love you.
You are amazing.
You are worthy.
You are enough.
You are lovable.
And you deserve happiness and well-being.
Using this space to repeat those affirmations or ones that you come up with.
Continue placing your hands over your heart if you feel comfortable.
Really feel this love and admiration for yourself in this moment where it can move into the rest of your day or your good night's sleep.
Either continue with the words of affirmation or with the words of love.
