So it is important to have stress relief as part of your daily routine.
Find yourself sitting down in an upright position,
Holding your head high above the spine.
Take a deep breath in and feel your lungs expand.
When you breathe out,
Close your eyes.
We will be doing some breathing exercises to let go of the stress related to important decisions you are making in your life right now.
I will guide you on how to breathe.
Follow me.
Breathe in through your nose,
And when you exhale,
Open your mouth and say,
Ah.
It might feel silly at first,
But let's do it three more times.
Breathing in through the nose,
Exhaling,
And saying ah.
Feel the vibrations in your chest from this sound.
Breathing in again,
Exhaling,
Feel the vibrations of sound.
Wonderful.
Now,
Just rest the breath.
Let it flow on its own without your control.
Feel how the breath automatically comes in and out,
But very slightly.
The body automatically knows how much oxygen to give you,
Just like you know the right decision to make.
If you listen to your intuition and your inner voice,
You can easily understand the choices that will bring the best possible outcome.
Let's relax even more by doing a simple body scan.
This means you will just imagine your body from head to toe as I guide you.
Now just feel your head.
Notice your head above the spine.
See if you can straighten your posture.
Now just notice your face.
See if you can let any wrinkles or worries melt away.
Soften the jaw.
Let your jaw hang a little loose and limp.
Soften your shoulders.
Just imagine your shoulders are melting like warm butter.
Relax your chest.
Feeling your heart soften.
You are giving it time and attention to heal right now in this very moment.
Notice your two arms resting by your sides.
Allow for them to hang very heavy.
Unclench the fists.
Stretch out your fingers for a minute.
Spread your fingers as wide as they will go.
And then relax the hand.
Let it be soft and loose.
Your hands guide you through many decisions in your life.
They are your prime resource of all that you do.
Allow for your hands to be in relaxation right now because they have so many important decisions to make for you.
Resting and rejuvenating all of the fingers.
You are doing so good.
Just imagine the digestive system now.
Your belly is soft and relaxed.
Your vital organs are running smoothly.
Bring your attention down to the sit bones,
The hips and pelvis.
Bring a softness here as well.
Letting your body melt into the surface below.
Notice your legs now.
And feel any tension just melting away.
Notice how your entire body has calmed down.
Perhaps you are experiencing a deep state of peace with this beautiful relaxation that you have created.
Repeat these powerful affirmations out loud if you can.
I am calm and I am cool in all situations.
I am guided by my inner knowing of the best possible outcome.
