Welcome to this meditation for the workplace or office.
Take a moment for yourself.
Tune out the outside world.
You deserve a little break.
If you can close your eyes,
Please do.
Don't worry.
People love to see others with their eyes closed.
It offers them relaxation as well to see that you are relaxed.
Don't feel afraid to close your eyes and tune in to the power of you.
You have worked so hard.
Now it is time to relax.
So just breathe slowly and deeply.
Breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the mouth for five breaths.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
One.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Two.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Three.
Breathing in through your nose and breathing out.
Four.
One more.
Five.
You notice how more relaxed you are than you were just a few minutes ago.
This is allowing your body to take a rest so that you can perform better at your work.
But for now,
You are completely enjoying this moment.
Bring your awareness to your fingers.
Perhaps you work with your fingers or your hands.
Notice how they are taking a moment of stillness.
Allow for your hands to remain motionless.
All tension in the fingers is unwinding,
Giving you a break from all that hard work that you do.
Bring attention to your entire hands now,
Including the wrists.
They don't have to do anything right now.
All the cells in your hands are regenerating.
Very good.
Perhaps you want to bring your attention to just your palms now.
The palms of your hands.
Notice how sensitive they are to temperature,
Texture.
Focusing on only the palms of your hands.
This is very relaxing.
Every moment that you give yourself to relaxation,
It boosts your ability to work.
Your productivity goes up and working is a breeze.
It only takes a short time,
10 minutes,
To rest and rejuvenate,
Getting back to a more productive day.
You are more relaxed now than you've been all day and this is a blessing.
Now imagine that a motivation is coming into you.
New fresh energy is coming your way.
If you'd like,
You can imagine that you can breathe in this new energy.
Breathing in.
Feeling rejuvenated.
Each day at work,
You accomplish so much.
And each day you take time to relax.
Allow your shoulders to drop down,
Releasing any tension you've held here during the work day.
Your face is relaxed.
You are breathing slowly and easily.
No effort is being given right now.
You are floating in a deep relaxation.
With this powerful feeling of comfort and relaxation that you have created,
Begin now to imagine your work day ahead.
See it full of opportunities,
Productivity,
Many clients coming your way.
Whatever your work day looks like,
Imagine it going perfectly.
Clearly see yourself accomplishing all tasks.
You are even doing more than you thought you would.
And it is not exhausting.
It's actually very easy.
It seems that everything during your work day is going exactly how you see it.
And if something does go wrong,
You are quick to respond,
Knowing the exact action to take to solve any issue.
Wonderful.
Now just let your mind wander around.
No need to focus on anything in particular.
Just enjoy this time for yourself.
Noticing how relaxed the body is.
Perhaps you notice a calmness within the mind.
This powerful relaxation is going to last a long time after this meditation.
You will carry this through your work day,
Feeling relaxed in all you do and everyone you connect with.
Enjoy these last few moments of meditative peace.
Breathe in one last deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Open your eyes and take on the work day with pride.
