Welcome.
Today we will practice a heartful meditation to experience peace of mind.
Begin by gently closing your eyes and making sure your posture is upright or you may lay down with a soft surface below.
Gently breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Relaxing.
Knowing you have nowhere to be other than right here,
Meditating.
So now,
Just gently start to notice your chest area.
Where you hold the heart.
Take a breath in and imagine you are filling your heart with fresh oxygen.
Exhale and just relax.
Now with the power of your imagination,
Allow for a memory to come into your mind where your heart felt full and you were filled with love.
What comes to mind?
What comes up in your heart when you think of this moment?
Were you with someone that you loved deeply?
Or perhaps you were looking at nature and thinking of it as God's creation.
Feel into your heart now.
Can you focus on your heart and almost feel it feeding strongly within you?
Take a deep breath now and imagine you're clearing away any old heartache.
Breathing into the belly and out from the chest.
Every breath you take is letting go of any stale energy.
And as you say to yourself now,
I am letting go of this old stale energy,
You are taking back control of your heart.
You are also regaining your natural peace of mind.
Something that we all had and must return to.
So just breathe and imagine that all that fresh oxygen is coming right into your heart and cleansing away anything that has held you back up to this day.
Breathe.
Clear away stress and tension in the chest.
If you're sitting upright,
Make sure your chest is out and your shoulders are back and that you're holding yourself with honor,
Dignity and grace.
Now place both of your hands over your heart,
Softly holding your heart.
Notice how the breath moves the chest up and down.
Your heart is a gentle and ever-present feeling that you can tap into in any moment in your life.
Your heart is beating rhythmically and effortlessly,
Bringing you peace.
Feeling the warmth of your hands on your chest.
Feel that your heart is becoming aligned,
Balanced.
If tears need to flow,
Let them fall.
If a smile needs to rise,
Let it shine.
Let your hands rest back in your lap now.
Your heart is pure.
It is beautiful.
Begin to scan your heart,
Noticing any times in your life where you were hurt.
Now breathe deeply into this pain in your heart.
Imagine that fresh oxygen is cleansing this memory.
So breathe deeply.
You may exhale with a sigh,
Gently letting go of this pain.
It is finally time to free your heart from this hurt.
Feel a lightness come over you as you breathe and metabolize this hurt.
Breathing back to peace and relaxation.
Again,
Scan your heart for any more painful moments.
It's okay,
We are going to breathe fresh,
New feelings into your heart.
Go ahead and breathe deeply,
Fully clearing away this stale energy for good.
You are allowed to let go of heartache.
Your heart is a muscle and it is ready to relax.
Very good.
Let your breath become slow and uncontrolled now.
Your breath flows in and out without any effort from you.
The last heart cleansing technique that we will do is that of forgiveness.
This is your opportunity to forgive those who hurt you in the past.
Your heart has been waiting a very long time for this moment.
Go ahead,
Think of anyone who has hurt your beating heart and imagine that you can say to them now,
I forgive you.
I forgive you.
I forgive you.
Feel the emotional release that comes along with your true forgiveness.
Continue to forgive anyone and everyone who had brought you heartache.
Allowing for this stale energy to flee forever.
Feeling better with every moment of forgiveness you gift yourself and your heart.
At this moment,
You are feeling more free and light than you have in a very long time.
Your heart is now truly rejuvenated,
Ready to love fully.
