This guided meditation and breath practice has been created to remind you of the intelligence of nature. For times of uncertainty and chaos, where we need a moment of grounding. This meditation guides you to your center, giving you time to grow the relationship to this still and calm place within you. The music has been written by myself (Maisie Rawlinson) to interweave and allow you to drop into your body, to cultivate safety within the present moment. Building your capacity to be formless.

Hello and welcome to Reconnect Daily,

A space for you to simply exist just as you are.

We'll start by simply arriving into the space.

We're just going to be a loving witness to our breath,

Our life force,

The current of creation.

So closing your eyes down and watching,

Listening.

I am aware of the flow of my breath going in.

I am aware of the flow of my breath going out.

I am aware of the flow of my breath going in.

I am aware of the flow of my breath going out.

And if your mind starts to wander,

That's okay.

Wonder is what our minds do.

Gently just tug the awareness,

The focus,

Back to the breath,

Back to the body.

Starts finding an anchor,

Whether it's my voice,

The piano gently playing behind me.

Anything you need just to tug you back to your center.

In times of chaos and uncertainty,

Periods of destabilization and unknowns,

It's very easy to get swept up in the winds.

But that chaos is a part of nature's cycle.

The intelligence of nature is a consistent problem solver throughout history.

The intelligence of nature and the divine seeks to create order out of chaos.

So know that in times of uncertainty and fear,

Darkness,

Perhaps you've descended into the underworld and you're facing parts of yourself that up until this moment have been hidden in the depths.

We must remember that we always get to choose how we respond.

That there is always a place within us that is still and silent and calm.

That in any moment we can shift the raging seas,

The ferocious tides,

The hurricanes,

And we can enter into a pool of serenity and presence.

Your breath is the access point to this.

Your breath is how you shift and change your states of being in a way that serves you and nourishes you and holds you.

So today we're going to do a breath that will bring us into our center.

It will bring us home to our heart.

And it will give us a moment of tender becoming.

It is a simple breath available to you in every single moment in your life.

It will be four seconds in.

Six seconds out.

With a six second hold.

Just join in with me when you're ready and surrender.

Surrender to your breath.

6 out,

6 hold.

We're going to go for a few more rounds and then we're going to let that breath count go.

I'm right here with you.

And just letting that count go now.

Just let yourself breathe in any way your body desires to breathe.

Notice how you're feeling now compared to the start of this.

Notice the sensations of your body.

Notice where the energy is flowing and what is being brought to your attention.

Whatever thoughts come across our mind in spaces like this,

Usually it's for a reason.

Maybe they desire to be acknowledged.

Maybe they desire to be let go of.

Just take note,

Observe,

Let them go again.

What are you feeling?

Can you name three emotions that are a part of your somatic story right now in this very moment?

Form a relationship to your center.

Know what it feels like to be in this still,

Quiet place within you.

Know what it feels like to meet yourself here.

And know that in times of chaos and uncertainty,

There is this place within you where you can always go.

You are your anger.

When it feels like everything is falling apart around you.

What is your capacity like to be formless?

What is your capacity to be spacious?

How can you grow more comfortable with existing in the spaces in between?

The spaces of decomposing in order to create fertile soil for new life.

We're going to close our practice with three breaths.

It will be a gentle inhale,

A long sigh release on your exhale.

So with me,

Gentle in.

Sigh,

Open mouth.

Gentle in.

Hand on your heart,

Sigh,

Open mouth.

Let it all go.

Gentle in.

Let it all go.

Staying here for a little while with yourself.

Go gently,

My friend.

Be kind to yourself.

Thank you so much for listening,

For being here with me.

I love you.

Until the next time.
