So today I kind of just wanted to talk about something that I mentioned on my Instagram story one time and funny enough my mom actually called me a few days after she saw it and she was like I have been implementing what you said on your story and I cannot believe what a profound breakthrough and experience it's been.

So I wanted to share that with you guys because it deserves more than a fleeting Instagram story and that is an epiphany that I had while doing dishes in my house.

So I was thinking about when I was younger and I would leave something in the kitchen or whatnot and my mom would say what are you leaving this for like you know I have to do it later somebody has to do it later like you don't have a maid you know you know how moms are and she took that as disrespect right because I was leaving that dish for her later.

Now when you live by yourself or you're just talking about doing daily tasks or things that are steps towards your goals and your dreams and we're kind of just putting them off right we wake up in the morning we don't want to get out of bed we don't want to put that piece of clothing away we don't want to wash that dish or pay that bill right and what we're doing is we are disrespecting our future self and so this is a amazing way to manifest the reality that you want to live right because we are giving to our future selves instead of deeming your future self unworthy and saying that person should do it I invite you to the possibility that your future self is gonna thank you for this later and your future self is worthy and deserving of rest and so what if you were to be in the present moment and do all those things for your future self you're setting yourself up to win every single time you do a task that you don't feel like doing do you think your future self is gonna feel like doing it just like your mom would say do you think I want to do this dish no they don't you're not gonna randomly want to do something that is maybe unpleasant for you in the future so start treating your future self like a queen because she is girl I know it's hard to conquer self-love in the present moment because there's a lot of past stuff that's involved and let's be honest some of us are not where we want to be right now in this moment but if you can look at your future and deem that girl or that man worthy of rest of coming into a clean room or a clean apartment or house and having all of the things set up all those bills paid all of those responsibilities handled and all of those steps taken right I always see people putting off taking steps towards their dreams because they're scared and it's like do it for your future self and you will thank yourself later

Really great way to reframe and redirect to feel motivated and to act. I almost immediately visualized many looming projects that have held me back and kept me stuck and visualized that they were possible. Good track to keep in my toolbox to revisit. Now for the next listen I'd like to "act" on one of my visualizations of doing....this time I stopped to write this review. πŸ™πŸΌ

Thank you! Excellent story. It is nice to have a short concise message like you delivered. This will help me a lot with my procrastination. I love the story you told about your mother. I always did the dishes when I was a kid too. It was one of my chores.

I loved this share. So profound. I never thought about procrastination like this before. A great analogy between disrespecting others and tying into disrespecting our future self. Thank you and God Bless
