Find a comfortable seated position.

You can close your eyes.
Or if you prefer,
You can keep your gaze down.
Now for the awareness to sink into the flow of your breath.
You simply follow the movement of the breath coming in and out of your body.
Feel the breath.
And feel your body sitting.
Feel the pull of gravity.
And then repeat in your own mind the words,
Release,
Release,
Relax.
Release,
Release,
Relax.
Keep repeating those words until you feel a sense of relief.
Release,
Release,
Relax.
If your mind wanders off in thoughts,
Just notice the distraction,
That's normal,
That's fine.
And you continue repeating the words,
Release,
Release,
Relax.
And as soon as you find this sense of relief from repeating these words,
You can invite a new experience into that space you have created for yourself.
Decide on how you want to feel next.
What quality of mind do you want to bring into the next thing you're doing?
What feeling state do you want to bring into the next thing you're doing?
What would serve you?
What is it that you need?
Then again,
Bringing awareness into your body.
Feel the weight of your body.
Feel your breath.
Allow for your mind to relax into the feeling of the breath.
As good as you can,
Stay connected to that as you continue into the rest of your day.
