Hello and welcome to today's meditation.

Get comfortable sitting or lying down and really get comfortable.

If you can make any adjustments to support your comfort like a soft blanket or a cushion or anything else,

I encourage you to make those adjustments now.

As we move through our day today,

It's easy to set aside our own needs,

To set aside our own comforts in favor of serving others or holding space for others.

But today,

We're just going to take some time to hold space for ourselves.

And we'll do this by connecting to our hearts.

So maybe you take one hand and place it on your heart space and just feel the warmth of your hand on your heart.

Maybe you even notice your heartbeat.

And as best as you can,

Bring some ease into your face,

Softening the muscles in your eyebrows,

Your cheeks,

Your jaw.

Soften your shoulders too and feel how your chest rises as you breathe in.

Feel how everything settles as you breathe out.

Let's stay with that feeling.

Breathing in and out.

Two more.

In and out.

So good.

Final breath in and out.

Now let your breath return to normal and you can take your hand and relax it down.

And as your hand moves away from your heart,

Notice the difference.

Notice how it feels to settle into the absence of your hand being there.

And there are so many subtle sensations that we can pay attention to in our heart space.

Sensations that connect us more deeply to ourselves and to our experience of love.

Love in the most expansive way.

Love without expectation.

Love without limitation.

Love without rushing.

Love without force.

This gentle energy that's pulsing and beating within you,

For you,

Always.

Today we're going to choose to be present with our heart space and let it be a portal into our deeper connection to love.

To help us feel even more settled in our hearts,

Let's just take a moment to check in with other parts of our energy.

Starting with the top of your head,

Just bring your awareness to the top of your head,

Breathe into it,

And out.

And as if you're making a spiral from the top of your head out and around and down to the base of your spine,

Send your awareness there now as you breathe in and out.

And you'll keep drawing this spiral around and up.

And now to your third eye,

That space between your eyebrows,

Breathe in.

And that spiral will come around and down,

Landing just below your belly button as you breathe in and out.

The energy spirals up and around,

Landing now between your collarbones as you breathe in and out.

Follow the spiral around and down,

Just below your ribcage,

Breathe in and out.

And then we'll finish the spiral up and around,

Landing back in your heart.

You are safe here.

You are loved.

You are so capable of loving and being loved.

You let go of expectations.

And you focus on that loving sensation.

And the more you focus on it,

The more you find it every day,

Everywhere,

In small ways,

In big ways.

A smile from a stranger,

The breeze and the trees.

And when we let go of our tight grip on how we think life should be,

We create space for love to enter.

And so I encourage you to relax,

To soften,

And allow your entire body to create more space energetically for love,

More space for love and light in your arms,

In your legs,

In your hips,

In your belly,

In your neck,

Your shoulders.

Just notice where within you could use a little bit more loving energy,

And maybe you send it there now by placing a hand on that space,

Or by just simply letting your awareness rest there.

Breathe in and out.

Come back to your heart space.

And then we'll come back to that spiral visual from your heart spiraling around and down just below your ribcage,

Around and up between your collarbones.

Around and down just below your belly button,

Around and up between your eyebrows,

Around and down to the base of your spine,

Taking a big breath in and out.

And the energy goes around and up to the very top of your head for our final breath in,

And out.

Being present with the loving energy that is always there with you in your heart space.

And every time you check in with your heart,

Every time you slow down and pause and connect to love,

You invite just a little bit more magic into your day.

And into your life.
