For today's practice,
We will sit still in the sun for two minutes.
So find your comfortable spot.
Maybe it's outside,
Sitting in the grass.
Maybe you're inside next to a window that's catching the sunlight.
Maybe you're in a comfy place using your imagination.
Wherever you are right now,
Begin to find stillness.
Breathe in.
And out.
We'll start by grounding ourselves,
Feeling the earth beneath us,
Feeling the floor beneath us,
Feeling the parts of our body that connect us down.
And then feeling the parts of us that might feel lifted up.
Or relaxed,
Or at ease,
Just noticing.
Feel the sun warm on your skin.
Feel the earth grounding beneath you.
Imagine roots growing deeper down as you receive the light from above.
Connecting this energy of receiving to your breath.
Breathing in the warmth.
And as you breathe out,
Let any tension downward into the earth.
Let it go.
Let it flow.
Breathe in the warmth of the sun.
Release any tension down into the earth.
Breathe in warm.
Breathe out,
Let go.
Inhale the loving light.
Exhale anything else.
Last breath in.
Grounding breath out.
