Good morning,
Good evening,
Or good afternoon.
Wherever you are,
Thank you for taking this sacred moment with me.
Now that you're here,
Take a moment to find your spine,
Whether it is long or on the back of the floor or bed.
We're lifted and tall and comfortable in a soft seated position.
Wherever you are,
Allow your body to slow and still.
Observe the shape of your body without judgment,
Harshness,
Or without changing anything.
As we're slowing down here,
Take this time to gently blink the eyelashes shut or take a soft focal point or drishti.
And take this time to focus inward on the breath.
During this time,
We will encourage ourselves to explore possibility.
We can continue that by asking ourselves,
What if we open here?
What if we remain open to the thoughts,
The energy,
The love surrounding us?
What if we love through every action,
Through every breath?
And when we are met with anger or judgment or frustration within ourselves or surrounding us,
What if we offered love?
What would happen?
And with that in mind,
Deeply inhale love into your lower abdominals,
Into the belly,
Into the solar plexus.
Maybe your rib cage lifts just a little bit.
Continue the breath into your chest and if you can,
All the way to the collarbones.
And without judgment,
Without tension,
Without harshness,
Kindly release that breath as an offering,
Sending love to someone who may need it,
To a neighbor,
To a friend,
To a family member,
Or maybe to ourselves.
During this exercise,
Pulling your body inward,
Energizing yourself through grounded possibility,
Connecting with the breath to allow yourself to open,
To allow yourself to grow,
To allow yourself to love.
Continuing to follow your breath and if the mind wanders,
Allow yourself to return to the breath gently and kindly,
Without judgment,
Without tension,
Without harshness.
Through this exercise of opening your awareness of expanding possibilities within yourself,
We can uncover that our way is not the only way,
That maybe,
Just maybe,
There is a greater loving purpose.
And if there is any point of urgency that arises,
Allow that distraction to settle.
Release it into the earth and return to your breath.
As you continue throughout your day,
Or as you wind down within your evening,
Continue to return to your breath and ask yourself,
What if?
Through each moment,
We have a new opportunity to open,
To grow,
To love,
To expand.
Allow yourself to settle and understand too,
This is part of the growing.
We'll take these next few moments to still any thoughts that may have wrestled or rumbled in this time.
And allow ourselves to release.
Taking another deep breath through our lower abdominals into our stomach,
Allowing it to rise into the solar plexus.
Maybe your ribcage expands a little more and up the chest and maybe,
Just maybe,
Into the collarbones.
And delicately release with slow and easy control.
Helping ourselves to soften.
Humbly arriving in this moment.
Rejoicing in what is.
Put that in mind.
Continuing our exploration of possibility.
Ask yourself,
What if you wiggled your toes,
You wiggled your fingers,
Created a soft awareness of the room around you as you blink your eyelashes open.
Expanding the arms into the space around you.
Maybe taking a brief sagittal stretch or lateral stretch.
Taking the arms above and down into the heart space.
Thank you so much for sharing this time with me.
The highest in me loves,
Honors,
And respects the highest in you.
Namaste.
