Good morning.

Welcome to a morning meditation practice.

Today,

We return to the breath and cultivate stillness in hopes to contain you a centered and beautiful day.

So let's start in a comfortable seated position,

Feeling your sit bones root deeply into the earth as your spine is grounded here,

Letting the head gently balance in between the shoulders with as little effort as possible.

Inhaling deeply into the belly and exhaling with ease.

If there are any sounds around you,

Birds or cars,

Or maybe dogs,

Take this opportunity to return to the breath to simply observe the sounds around you as potential distractors and allow them to release,

Seeing them as potential obstacles in today's path.

But allowing yourself to let them go in the process,

Holding no tension or judgment towards them,

For knowing that those negative judgments to others or ourselves are counterintuitive to our happiness.

Inhaling in and with each inhale,

Untangle a little bit of tension in the body,

Releasing maybe in the jaw or the shoulders,

The neck,

The lower spine.

Knowing that with this breath,

With this intention,

It is so.

Feeling an overwhelming joy here,

A consistent peace.

Returning to the breath.

Returning to nourishing guidance.

And if any thoughts or physical distractors bubble to the surface in this time,

Allow them to slow and soften,

Release them without any judgment,

Knowing that this is part of the process and that this is an opportunity to return to the breath.

And with that in mind,

We'll introduce a few affirmations.

The first one,

I love myself,

Respect myself,

And accept myself exactly as I am.

I love myself,

Respect myself,

And accept myself exactly as I am.

The second one,

I am grateful for the love in my life,

For helping me feel what it truly means to be alive.

I am grateful for the love in my life,

For helping me feel what it truly means to be alive.

And the last one being,

Every moment is an opportunity to return to the breath,

Return to stillness,

Return to my center.

I plan and adapt accordingly.

Every moment is an opportunity to return to the breath,

Return to the center.

We can use this throughout the day.

We can nourish ourselves by returning to the breath and planning and adapting accordingly,

Feeling supported by the nourishment of deep belly breathing.

And if tension may arise,

We can still return here to this moment,

To this practice,

And turn inward,

Allowing ourselves to let go of any judgment and simply be in the present moment,

Not what may have happened moments ago or moments ahead,

But letting ourselves return to the here and now.

And with that in mind,

You can stay here for as long as you feel called to.

And when you're ready,

You can wiggle the fingers and toes and gently back the eyelashes open,

Allowing your eyes to be observant of all that is around you,

The colors,

The light.

I thank you for sharing this time with me here today on Insight Timer.

You can feel free to follow me here at Love Pills My Heart.

And if you would like to,

You can donate to this practice.

Any and all donations are appreciated,

But not required.

Thank you so much.

The highest in me,

In loves,

Honors and respects,

The highest in you.

Namaste.
