What lessons is your body offering you today? At times, it may feel the world is expected from us or that we expect the world of ourselves. We guard ourselves in labels to help others manufacture a sense of certainty about our being. We use these labels to secure our individuality, sense of self, and notion of control. Yet at times, these labels can cause more harm than benefit. Start the process of unfolding and deep release here. By learning to let go, you are able to let in love.

Good morning,

Good afternoon,

Or good evening.

Wherever this journey finds you,

I invite you to take a comfortable seated posture with your spine long and your sit bones rooted into the earth or to release into the earth by simply lying down flat on your back.

As you make your way to encourage comfort and ease,

Take a moment to focus on the breath.

The excitement of the inhale and the ease of the exhale.

Today's focus is about letting go and what it means to surrender.

So frequently we fill our lives with tasks big and small.

In this moment,

I invite you to consciously let go.

Without taking time to focus on the things you wish to let go of,

Simply remind yourself of this mantra and connect it with both your inhale and your exhale.

Exhaling for let,

Exhaling for go.

There may be sonic distractors,

The sound of traffic,

Airplanes,

Air conditioning,

Loved ones,

Neighbors,

Friends.

Whatever it may be,

Simply release it,

Come back to your body.

Feeling strong,

Centered,

Grounded in the here and now.

Exhaling for let,

Exhaling for go.

Imagine the serenity that may come if we were able to let go of anything that was not known.

Without attachment,

Without fear,

Without suffering.

Ask yourself this without adding judgments or harshness,

But simply as an invitation to know that you always have the option to surrender.

You always have the option to stay in this present moment.

To close your eyes and look within.

Continuing to stay with the breath,

Reminding yourself,

Inhaling to let,

Exhaling go.

Even if the mind wanders,

If your to-do list is calling,

That's okay.

Simply return to the breath without any judgment or harshness.

Becoming like a distant friend.

Realizing the beauty within this moment.

Oftentimes we view letting go as the lower path,

As a cop-out or as weak.

When in reality to let go requires strength,

Vulnerability,

Love,

Compassion and understanding.

There's great wisdom in creating boundaries and releasing control and surrendering.

Let go is to trust,

Trust that everything that is meant for you will come in due time.

To surrender is not to abandon,

But rather to enjoy,

To prepare and to release presumptions that leave us filled with tension.

It is to nourish our bodies,

Our spirits and our minds.

And also to allow ourselves permission to relinquish control.

There's so much wonder,

So much beauty that is beyond our grasp of consciousness.

So with this I invite you to find inspiration in the unknown.

Inhaling to let,

Exhaling to let go.

Letting go of all that does not serve you,

All that is not meant for you and all that causes suffering.

To find alignment,

To find strength from within.

Thank you for sharing this time and practice with me.

The highest in me loves,

Honors and respects the highest in you.

Namaste.
