Take a few deep breaths and as you breathe,
Feel yourself becoming more present and centered in the body.
With each breath,
Feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed.
If it feels comfortable for you,
Close your eyes or find a focal point on the floor.
Now I want you to bring to mind someone you care deeply about.
Someone who brings warmth and joy into your life.
And as you think of them,
Say either out loud or silently,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be at peace.
Imagine sending these warm wishes from you to them like rays of sunlight.
Now turn your attention towards yourself.
Imagine extending the same loving kindness inwardly.
Repeat silently or out loud,
May I be happy,
May I be healthy,
May I be at peace.
Next,
Expand this feeling to someone you may have had a recent difficult interaction with.
With compassion,
Say out loud or silently,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be at peace.
Let these feelings of loving kindness expand to include all beings everywhere.
Breathe in peace and breathe out kindness.
With every inhale,
Feel this white,
Warm,
Glowing light of peace filling your body.
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself radiating the glorious kindness that you hold within.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
